Comment:

Although he makes his class interesting..he speeds through lessons and give very advanced examples rather than discting the simplified ones to make sure you understand them. This professor is best for advanced math students, for those of you who need a more paced teacher like myself, find a different professor. But hes super cute though:)

Comment:

Mr. Desloge is a nice guy and extremely smart but a pretty average teacher. He'll fly through a lesson that will leave you lost and confused but if you keep up with the hw you can pass this class. Every quiz was take home and the exams were easy if you studied a little. Would I recommend? Eh, maybe if your other options are bad take this guy.

Great teacher! He's funny, artistic, and very good with math so it makes it easy to attend. He takes attendance at the end of class so stick around. Not much for homework besides the usual CourseCompass aspect of the class. Would take him again if possible!

Comment:

Fantastic teacher! Takes pride in his work and makes every attempt to help his students succeed. He issued numerous take-home quizzes, and even gave a rematch for the first test. I cannot recommend Mr. Desloge highly enough; teachers of this caliber are a rarity! Not an "easy" class, but so long as I don't botch the final, I'll be earning an A.

The way to keep up with Mr. Deslogue is to stay on top of your homework so you will be familiar with the coursework because he teaches fast for sure. Print the materials from the online textbook (which helped me a lot). The class was hard indeed but you can make a decent grade if you do your part which you are responsible for well.

If your really good at math and helping yourself he isn't a bad teacher. He makes mistakes and just breezes over things unless you ask for him to go into detail. If you like fast pace confusing you will like this class otherwise if you suck at math like I do..take someone esle.

This class is hard; the way to get through it is to self teach yourself. He shorthands all lessons in his own language which leaves you confused. Practice tests are helpful for the practice but the actual test is in his own world again. If I had to take him again, I would RUN

He explains work well but this will not be the work you see on the test... He skips too much stuff and I don't think his teaching ethinicity is overall good at all. Two classes this fall almost everyone dropped the course...Only a few students like less than 10 in each class.

I really liked Mr. Desloge. I hate math, but he explains everything pretty well and cracks jokes here and there to make this awful subject more interesting. Hes a great guy. Attendance isn't mandatory. I skipped a lot and still got a good grade. all HW & quizzes are done on MyMath Lab and aren't due till the day of the test. Take him!

Funny BUT, he skips alot of steps & writes in shorthand. The hw has alot of questions, but without the homework I wouldve failed. Very hard to understand, works out of order and backwards like he's left-handed/brained or something.

Mr. Desloge is always willing to help (even on the weekends). He also explains everything in detail so that you have a full understanding of the work. Never tests on material that is not covered in class. Take this instructor!

i needed this class to pass and get into a better math, THANK GOD he was my teacher. He is even helping me with my current math classes, and he isn't even my teacher anymore!:)
