She was one of my first profs at Kutz my freshman year. She is amazing. She is a walking history book and her lectures about history are captivating. I could sit there all day and listen to her. Never thought I'd be so interested in history but she's witty and so sweet. Her study guides help and her exams are self explanatory.

This was the second class I had with Kelleher and I love taking classes with her. I had this class during the pandemic and was really worried about the paper that we had to do during it. She gave us extensions on our drafts, she gave amazing feedback, and overall she made the whole experience so much less stressful. She is a professor that CARES.

Super adorable woman. Very helpful and always approachable. She was lecture heavy and it was easy to drift off but the lectures were interesting.

I loved having Dr. Kelleher! She was super nice and was always easy to reach. The only thing that sucked was that there was only 3 tests, a short paper, and the final so there isn't a lot to be graded. Her lectures can be really boring and you might fall asleep sometimes but she really knows her stuff and can make lecture fun. Tests are super easy

I absolutely loved Prof Kelleher, she was so passionate about the class and it really showed. She gives feedback on everything you do and does her best to help her students. I have not had a professor like her before, and I wish I had more history courses to take so I could have her again! Just go to class and you'll do great!

I ended up withdrawing from her class because it was so ridiculous. It's a level 100 class but it felt like a 200 or 300. She gave a ridiculous amount of reading, essays, and general busy work. We had a big assignment where we had to read the census from 1850 and type it out into excel, total waste of time. Would never take her again

Dr. Kelleher is a true gem in the History Department at Kutztown. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone, History Major or not, because she is an absolutely amazing professor. She cares intensely about her students, and will be there for you in whatever way is needed to help you learn and succeed in her class. Take her!

Not a hard class. Some students found it hard to stay awake. Just another one of those passable classes if you; come to class, take notes & study. And by notes (not just what she writes on the board) I mean word for word. It's a nice class to have in the afternoon, calm environment. READ THE TEXT BOOK!!

I personally didn't struggle with the class, but if you didn't come to class and take notes and pay attention, you will not do well. There is a lot of material to learn.

This professor explains well and knows her subject very well. Her tests are based on what she says during lectures as well as on the readings that she assigns. She uses the textbook. I loved her class. She is always very friendly and helpful. She also offers people many chances to boost their grades.

Go to class, many of the test questions come from lectures strictly. She's a fair grader and really cares about how her students perform. She gives feedback and will reach out to you if you start going downhill. No tests are cumulative including her final so if you mess up on one test there's plenty more time to redeem yourself.

The class is pretty easy. Four exams all together including the final. You have to write one paper, she doesn't grade too harshly. You don't really need the book, she has copies in the library that you could use. She's pretty nice and is always willing to help. Recommend her!

This class was very difficult. Professor Kelleher did make many attempts to make it clearer and easier, however, it did not help. This was the first time the university had this particular course and it showed.

She does talk about women throughout history like everybody says on here, and it is distracting, but as a history major I still enjoyed the course. Tests are simple enough, puts practice Q's online, final is not cumulative. Need the book for 1 paper, like 2 pages long. Save the money and print the pages needed from her reserved copy in the library.

Talked the whole class and scribbled few notes on the board. Extremely hard to understand. I felt lost from the time the class started up until it let out. Withdrew from the class after about 2 weeks knowing I would not even pass the upcoming test. I wouldn't advise you to take it especially if history is not your strong subject.

Her whole class is lecture but not all that boring. All of her lessons were very clear and easy to take notes on. 90% of the test in on the lectures so very little is taken from the book. There is an easy short paper assignment. The final contains an essay which is given ahead of time, but it isn't cumulative. Participation is worth 10%. Loved her!

Easiest class-notes rite from book. Nice, tests easy. Essay based & multiple choice. lectures/discussions. rarely read just skim over the material. paper at the end 2 pgs book review. I'd take her again for a history class.

Really easy but boring and is stuck on woman's rights and just woman in general for some reason which made half the things she said pointless when it came to tests. There is a text book but I didn't buy it and I got an A on every test as the material is basic history knowledge. Every once in awhile she takes attendance.
