Comment:

I took her English 101 online and got over 100%. The class was very easy. You just have to do the work. She was very kind when I had questions and she replied fast. I wouldn't suggest her class because there are a lot of assignments that don't pertain to English AT ALL. Be prepared to watch political and VERY explicit videos.

cullinan is very unorganized in canvas and the class is very confusing to follow, making it way too easy to miss assignments which were put in the wrong submission weeks.

Patty is such a nice teacher, she doesn't assign much homework and when she does she has long due dates with a grace period. She is a very easy person to talk to.

Worth taking her class online. Responded to questions within hours of asking them. Very helpful in her feedback. Without how clear and constructive she was, I would not have gotten such a high grade.

Too many writing assignments. This isn't a course on journalism. Three 3-5 page essays AND a 7-10 page research paper AND weekly reading(s) with essay questions on top of that. Writing, writing, writing, all we do is WRITE I'm so OVER IT. If this isn't the only class you're taking the workload will bury you.

She's perfectly nice and gets back to you in a very timely manor which is not how a lot of other online instructors are. Just a warning for anyone interested in this class: Do not take it during summer or winter. Not enough time for all the millions of projects she assigns. And if you mess up one tiny detail on one paper, your grade is toast.

Patty is very nice, if you ever need help she will get back to you. You will write 4 essays, and be ready to let the other students read your work, as it is a requirement to post your drafts and give feedback. The class wasn't bad and you do use both of your books required for the class. There are also a few opportunities for extra credit.

Patty was awesome! Our theme of the class was race, class, and gender issues and she had many interesting essays, videos, and assignments. Only 3 3-5 pg essays and then 7-10 pg research paper at the end. Many discussion boards and smaller assignments to complete, but the theme of the class made it easy to discuss! Responds quickly, and very helpful

I am taking her English 101. Patty grades fairly and has great feedback. If you read and understand the material then you will have absolutely no problem. I don't think she assigns an overload of work. I also find that the subject material is relevant and interesting. I highly recommend Patty to anyone that is going to be in an online class.

Her online class is straight forward. Do the assignments that are due within the week they are given. Essays are simple 3.5pgs-4pgs and tons of homework. You will feel disconnected from the course material unless you submerge yourself into extra unnecessary reads. She grades rough and you wont understand why half the time.

Patty is AWESOME. I've taken her 101 and 102 classes and loved them both. She teaches you to think for yourself instead of having the mainstream media think for you. If you have the opportunity to take her class I highly suggest doing it.

Professor Cullinan was a great professor. She wants you to succeed and is a fair grader as long as you put in a fair effort. She gives excellent feedback on papers, and returns them EXTREMELY promptly. Would highly recommend for online.

The best professor I have had in long time! Patty is understanding and all you really need to have is communication. She always updates grades regularly is consistent in all ways. Her teaching style is one of the best ways to be taught. I have had her for the past 2 semester and sadly will not be able to have her again since I am going to UNR :(

I took her 101 class online, and all I can say is that she is the best! She is such a fair grader and is probably the most understanding professor around. The key is communication! I'll be taking her 102 class next semester. I absolutely would recommend her! TAKE HER CLASS!

Great teacher!! I love Patty, she teaches so well and is funny and engaging. She gives you all the help you can get and gives great resources to use in any English classe. Easy class. After 3 absences your grade can go down a little but don't worry you will like her class so you'll never miss it.

Comment:

Ms. Cullinan made Composition II a great learning experience! The emphasis for this particular section was on race, class, and gender studies, which requires analytical thinking for each assignment. Syllabus was clear and concise and feedback was always timely. 8-10 page final paper was icing on the composition cake!

Patty is an awesome professor! Anyone who has a chance to take her should! I struggle with writing essays, but Patty is really helpful and makes it clear to what she's expecting. The class is super easy as long as you keep up with the work. She's super nice & has a great personality! :)
