Comment:

He's approachable and helpful, but I shouldn't have to approach him every workshop assignment with multiple questions. He doesn't explain and when a student asks for clarification its leaves you more confused and embarrassed because of his tone. He seems nice, but probably better for graduates not undergrads. his grad student was a better teacher.

Comment:

Overall a good prof. He does sometimes have a condescending tone and can make you feel dumb, but I don't believe he does it intentionally. He is a tough but fair grader and if you need some help, or need to ask him a question about an assignment, he is very approachable.

Comment:

Sometimes he was hard to follow and went a bit fast in class but he's very approachable and I even had an interview with him for a research position and he offered to help me find Master's programs when I'm done. He's passionate about geography and wants students to do well. I have again this semester and l look forward to it.

By far the worst experience in my undergraduate education. He was rude and condescending towards his students, cannot teach by virtue of his inability to deliver information, taught primarily from the textbook (direct copies of texbook material onto Blackboard), left the seminar work completely to his graduate student. I was never so uninspired.

Peter presents course material in a very clear and easy to understand manner. The course is well structured and organized. However, he is unenthusiastic about course material. Course content is dry. Little patience for is given to anyone who is not keenly interested.

Great lecture notes, diagrams and tests. Expert in his field. Straight and to the point on labs and tests. Make fun of stupid people! Laied back, plays Hockey. A prof for the students. Great supporter of TUGS.

Took many classes with him, condecending attitude. He will judge a book by its cover, and be stubborn to change his attitude about you. In my opinion, a black mark on the department.

Not bad. He's pretty random and hard to follow sometimes, and if you get stuff wrong in class he can be pretty harsh sometimes, but generally a good guy. Has a tendency to make you feel like an idiot sometimes, but I don't think he really means to.

I do not agree with these other ratings. I found him to be condescending, very unapproachable, and often insulting. His courses were also alarmingly easy, not what I would expect at the university level. Mediocre lecturer, disagreeable person.
