Knows the material. Not very good at explaining things to students. Worst attitude I have ever seen in a professor. Looks down on everyone. Has no problem being flippant and dismissive of students.

Poor teacher in Lab. Horrible experience to endure his labs. He was demeaning and shouting down to his students in a condensending way. I later felt withdrawn in his lab and he then gave me a D-. The students practically couldnt care less about his class, but he almost failed only me. Fortunately I still got into med school despite his class.

Comment:

A good professor but he does stray from the topic at hand to talk about chemistry which interests him. Once you get to know him, you'll find he has a wry sense of humor. Do your work and you'll do well in his class. Teaches only graduate level now.

I think he has a very good heart. He wants his students to learn and enjoy chemistry. Labs can be difficult, but overall its good. Rudman should loosen his belt though at times; he gets to edgy in lab. Otherwise, Ruddy rocks!

Rudman is excellent in what he does; put you to sleep. You better follow exactly what he says in lab or else..... His tests are fairly simple, but his teaching methods really bites. Hopefully, you'll learn to use the textbook.
