Thank God he's retired. He should have been fired for arbitrary and capricious grading and violating student privacy by putting homeworks/exams in a pile for everyone to go through as well as emailing the entire class everyone's grades.

Had him for 6 classes or perhaps more as a phys major. His class teaching skills are terrible, be ready to learn from your book. Don't be a jerk to him, he actually changed the entire grading policy for a class I took, I'm convinced just to mess with me. That is illegal by the way. I was graduating, so I didn't fight it.

Whoever said he is easy and good at breaking things down obviously has no had him for anyhting more then a 100 level class. You will spend 10 + hours a week if your lucky. He is inevitable for physics major so get used to it. Smiley Face is a liar!!! He is a nice guy but all 4 classes i have taken with him have been ridiculous!

He is a very difficult teacher and demands a lot (many times, too much) from the student. Homework is difficult as well are the tests. If you're a physics major, he can't be avoided (next semester will be the 5th time in 4 semesters). He does put a huge curve on your final grade at the end, however.

He is a very smart man and knows what he is talking about. If you dont understand what you are doing in the hw it will be hard for you, but he is always willing to help, and very helpful. He is a nice man too, good at breaking it down. I have a A right now, and I don't have to spend too much time outside of class on work.

Very difficult teacher. He covers some material in class, but most learning is left up to you. If you are majoring in phys/engineering he is inevitable, so learn all material on your own, do all homework no matter how long it takes, and study EVERYTHING for the tests.

Loves MACs. Doesn't explain anything well. Does everything on computer and then tests you by hand. Will learn how to use Mathmatica quite well by the end of the semester. But that is about it.

Run far far away from this class. Even if you are not a physics major- he thinks you should know as much as physics majors do. I was in it for just the Gen Ed- aced physics in high school and struggled to pass his class. His computer does the work and he's like "see how?" and you're like- NO!!

Dr.McKenzie is the absolute worst teacher that I've ever had. He doesn't give back homework and gave his second half exam and the cummulative 4 days apart. Whatever you didn't get on one you didn't get on the other. DO NOT TAKE WITH HIM!! Take a break and take Howard or Pica next semester!BEWARNED!

Very unhelpful. Never at his office. In lectures he goes through DirectMath so fast you can't take notes and does not provide homework solutions. His monotone speaking style is a sure cure for insomnia.

Aviod this professor at all cost. In one word this professor os terrible. Lectures are long and torturous and exam are impossible. If you miss one part of a question it is all wrong. I repeat DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR FOR ANYTHING!!!!
