He started us off with a chapter test the first week of class, the week that youre just getting settled in trying to get all your book request filled and gather your materials based on syllabis. Vague instructions on writing assignments. Very scrutinizing when I turned them in. Id avoid this guy like the COVID-19 virus.

I'm not gona lie I sorta hated Richard at the beginning of the semester but he's whatever! He lectures all day so make sure you drink coffee! I never really paid attention but I attended class almost every class meet and I studied for the exams and pass with a fair grade :) Also, he reminds me of those preppy popular guys that are too cool lol

Hi's giving all information during his class,that you need for test,so you really need to attend, other way you will spend way too much in front of computer trying to find the answers for study Guide. He is very strike about attendance, so don't be late, don't leave early.2midterms,1Final. Everything from Study guide and handouts. Very Challenging

He does not play around. This is a serious class. Pay attention to his lectures, supplement your notes with the book, DO THE STUDY GUIDE!!! The exams are based on the lecture and study guides and information sheets! To get an A in the class you must provide as much information as you possible can. He also notes your attendance on each exam.

I really appreciate this professor. He teaches you what you need to know about poli sci- he cuts out all the unnecessary. If you are lazy and dont like doing you work- dont take the class, but if you have a genuine interest take it. He is good.

If you are a poli-sci major, you should take him. His class is not easy, it is pretty challenging compared to others. You will learn a lot, and it will help you. He is a very nice man as well.

Pritchard is an older man, who constantly speaks about his years in war. Sadly there isnt much to learn in class, so most of the studying you have to do on your own. He gives you study guides, that are basically the exam, so just study those and you will be fine!

I agree with Law 3 comment made on 2/4/07. Do NOT take this class just to get credits for General Ed. I tried this 20 years ago and it blew up in my face. Long story short, I dropped after the first test. I guess I was not prepared for this caliber of class. I think he is highly intelligent in this field.I'd want to call him if I got arrested.

I have found this class to be very informative. However, there is a lot of reading to do and a lot of writing involved for the tests. The tests are all in essay format. I have found this class to be hard and challenging at the same time.

He's a good teacher & definitely knows his stuff however, I fell asleep many times in class. Maybe it was because I was tired, but I think it's because I was bored. If you're truly interested in constitutional law, then he has such a wealth of knowledge and he'll be great for you, but if you're taking the class just for credits, don't take him.

He was extremely boring and i couldnt stay awake in his class. He always jumped topics and i didnt want to try to follow him anymore. He spoke in mono-tone so if he said a joke, we just all assumed it was part of the text. He doesnt have quizzies and no homework but he has tests which are NOT multiply choice... they're all in essay form!

I took Prof. P back in 1994. It was probably one of the hardest classes ever, but I don't think I have ever learned so much in one class. Yes, he is monotone and old, but if you listen you will find everything he says fascinating. He was instrumental in my getting into UCLA and because of his encouragement ended up going to law school. Nicest guy!!

This class was soooo frustrating. His lectures don't follow a clear path, he is always jumping around and getting off topic. He speaks with a monotonous tone, which can get very boring. He does provide study guides, though. I learned everything from the study guides and self study, his lectures were pretty useless. Absolutly no class participation!
