He was a great teacher. I took him for Chem 100 my freshmen year and he made chem really easy. I had him for lab and lecture and I don't think I would have gotten a B in the class if I took it with someone else. I am a science major but I am not the best at chem at all.

Comment:

Prof Ziccardi is a great! I highly recommend that you take his class. The hw is optional but definitely do it in order to understand the material and also because his exams are almost identical to problems from the hw. He goes over every problem and even reviews before each exam. He is a very helpful and kind person.

Professor Ziccardi gives only five exams the entire semester and then the Final. Exams are lecture and homework based. He reviews the topics that were previously covered before each exam. Good professor, he wont give anything unexpected on the exams and he answers every question with patience and respect. Attendance is necessary for passing.

He was easy in the sense he gives you everything you need to pass his class if you study. But because I am a science major and have to take chem115, I honestly do not feel prepared. also take his lab with his class or you will feel behind in lab.

Professor Ziccardi is an incredible person. He cares about his students passing, if you need help let him know and he will be there for you. He's a huge laker fan and easy to talk to. As a chemistry major, I wish all my chem professors were like him. Take notes, ask for help, take his lab if you can, and you will pass. I passed with a B+.

Dr. Z is the man! He truly wants ALL of his students to pass. His teaching technique is beyond perfect. I absolutely HATE math based science classes with a passion. Super worried about this class in the beginning but passed with flying colors. Put in the effort, do the homework and ask for help if you need it. I wish he taught O. Chem too!

This is the best chemistry teacher I have ever had. He is very clear and thorough on the material that he teaches. His tests are generally short and easy to study for. He does not assign manditory homework, but gives optional homework that he goes over in class and that will help prepare one for the tests.

I highly recommend taking his Lab and Lecture! He is my favorite teach at Palomar! He is so clear and knows what he is talking about! He does take role but if you miss a class he reviews everything from the last to catch people up!

Professor Ziccardi was one of the best professors I have ever had at Palomar! I am a high school student and this is the first time I have ever taken Chemistry. He made Chemistry easy to interpret and made me comfortable with utilizing the Lab tools. I would recommend him to anyone!

One of the best professors you could ever take for Chemistry. Amazing with the way he teaches and really funny, even though he doesn't mean to. Just take notes and everything he writes down and you will pass with an A. First time CHEMISTRY TAKER AND professor Zaccardi made me fall in love with it. Highly recommended.

Great professor, teaches everything very clearly and very helpful person that wants you to pass. This was my first year ever to learn about chemistry. My average of grade all my test were about 65% but if you show him on the final you actually learn from him he will pass you but you actually have to study a lot on your own. Great teacher to have.

Take this class. I loved Professor Ziccardi. He was so encouraging and literally rooting for each student to pass. I had a really hard time with chemistry prior to taking this class and now not only do I understand it, I enjoy it. He is amazing and I can't thank him enough for all of his encouragement! He is what every teacher should be.

Great professor who helps in any way he can. Attendance is NOT mandatory so you don't have to go if you know what you're doing. He answers everyone's questions and gives extra class time for those lessons that are harder to understand. I recommend this professor to everyone but especially to those students who aren't into science.

Love this professor! I honestly wish he taught all my other science courses as well. He makes the subject soo easy to understand, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his students. Awesome professor! I definitely recommend taking his class.
