Comment:

He's a really good teacher. Makes a lot of jokes.. corny jokes but I like corny jokes so this class is pretty funny. I'm currently taking him at night and History+class after 8pm is never and good combination but overall GREAT Professor ! Listen, take notes and read the assigned chapters an you will do fine. He is not a tough grader AT ALL !

He's nice but he lectures from memory, from his notes, then mixes in a little of what the history book actually says. I haven't had a test yet, so I'm reading all 3 versions daily to pass this class.

Mr. Jackson is very and will work with you on turning in late assignments. He does tell cheesy jokes...alot. Be prepared to get the text book, that or check one out at the library. But all in all if you take good notes and come to class you should do well.

He was not a good teacher for me. I believe you really have to love history in order to pass his class and I just do not get history. So to me he was not a good teacher at all because I let him know that I was lost and he really did not help me at all.

idk what these people are talking about his lectures are terrible he isnt clear about anything he never puts grades on blackboard doesnt ever email you back this is probably the worst class ive taken at tcc i am very disappointed

I took this class in C term and it was hard, because he gave a lot of notes which you had to get down as he talk. He go extremely fast and if you are not a good note taker and can't stand lon boring lectures please don't take him. He is now added to my list of the worst teahers I have ever had at Tcc. DON'T TAKE HIM.................

As long as your note-taking skills are good, this class will be easy. He's a very nice guy, gives you credit for good attendance and there is very little homework. You just need to pay attention and show up.

don't get me wrong he's a nice guy and all, but just not my style. he is very unclear while lecturing about what is and isn't important. he does give out a syllabus of the material to be tested on, but if you don't have excellent notes, it's hard. accelerated class. lots of reading, cant miss class!

Very important to go to class. if you do, you'll probably pass. Gives good notes and makes the subject intresting. Also teaches AMH1041 & AMH1050. Only teach acclerated classes.
