Great class, which I found to be really interesting. The course consisted of many discussions and a presentation. The exams were on the tougher side you definitely have to go over the text book that she gives you and write down everything she says during the lecture.

Dr. Darling is hilarious, it's super low key dry humor but if you pay attention youll laugh. She makes a book so you don't have to buy one, and it contains all the lecture outlines for the class. Just show up and write down what she says and fill in with the book and study for exams, she gives you everything you need if you work for it.

She says that you need to buy a text book that you don't even use. Her test take longer than 50 mins that's given and extra credit is only given when the class overall didn't do well on the exams. There are 3 exams and the final is cumulative. Not clear in what she asks for and goes over material very fast. Very short and rude when asking for help.

If you have had high school environmental science or biology, you have basically already learned this. Go to class sometimes, take notes, and study seemingly pointless details. Common misconception: She is not looking for your opinion during discussions. You now love every animal more than yourself.

Inpossiable to sit through. As close to middle school as possiable, still hands out participation grades.she can't even string a sentence together without a few 10-15 seconds pauses mid sentence. Voice is absolutely mind numbing, and it seems she has no clue what's she is talking about.
