Amazing guy. Total sweetheart who knows a ton about the subject. He makes you work for a good grade on essays, but he gives clear feedback to help you out. He does tend to go off on tangents, but he always reels it back in. Definitely recommend taking him.

Mr Atkinson was a pretty cool dude. he seems very relaxed and very knowledgeable in the subject. he like pop quizzes every now and then so make sure you read somewhat. he'll just tell you what the previous nights reading was about otherwise which is nice. he also lets class out early pretty often for random reasons. and i mean EARLY! good teacher!

Prof. Atkinson is great! I am now going on the be an english major. I came out with an A in his class, but I def worked for it. Read the material he assigns, cus he likes pop quizes...but overall a great teacher and I would recomend him for anyone and everyone

I LOVE Mr. Atkinson! HE is one of the smartest Lit. teachers I've ever had! He helped me outside of class as much as I needed, including a recommendation! If you pay attention, his lectures are VERY interesting, and you should participate and read. Does give some quizzes and papers, but he's great!

Very nice guy. Grades his papers very difficult. I have always made A's on all English papers and came out with C's. He is very strict on gramatical errors. Make sure you do your reading because he throws out pop quizzes occasionally!
