Did not learn anything from this class as she seems that she does not care for the material that she is teaching or her students learning. If you send her an email, do not expect a response as I sent a few emails over the course of the semester and did not receive any responses. Dislikes student athletes and will not accommodate. Do NOT take her.

She's nice and direct, but not accessible at all. Must have sent 5 emails over the semester and only received one response of maybe 5 words. Take the class yes, but that's what you'll be getting out of it.

I truly believe if you take Dr. Cherukuri and you don't do well, it is because you are a poor student. There are two tests and other few assignments. The tests are straight from lecture, so if you pay attention will do fine. She is a very smart woman who has a lot to teach and I thoroughly enjoyed the topics of discussion.

Completely reasonable professor. If you work hard, pay attention, and are interested in the material you will do fine. She gives two exams and you have to complete 5 one page single spaced summaries. Not a hard class.

Nothing totally against her, but only take a course with her if you are really serious about the material. I had a friend take the same course with another professor and while I was tearing my hair out over the tests and readings, she was watching movies in her class. She is nice and is helpful if you ask. Gives study guides for the two exams.

Her class was very interesting. Class participation is key. Final and midterm is based on the slides she presents in class and have little to do with the readings she hands out. Not a lot during the semester other than reading,but don't get behind on the book review and 15 page paper/project. She's also known to move deadlines if enough people ask.

Work wise, there's really not a lot, so if you have a heavy course load, she's an easy addition. The class is mainly discussion based. Participate and you'll be fine. She's strictly multiple choice for exams and we've had one 6 page paper, and a 15 page group research paper

One of my favorite professors. Super nice, class was really easy. Midterm and final exam are multiple choice, not that diffficult if you study. Only one book to read with a 6 page summary and one 10 page group research paper. Class was interesting, would take her again

Suarvana is a very nice women. She wants her students to do well overall. The tests can be a little difficult, but all of the material is on the study guide/in your notes. I was out of class for 4 weeks and she gave me so much extra time to make everything up. She was so understanding. Plus there's no final, just group paper :)

she is extremely unorganized and you learn very little in this class. she spends half the time treating you like you are children and the other half being a ridiculously hard grader. tests are hard and bring down your grade tremendously. wouldn't take her again.

Dr. Cherukuri is tough but good; took crunch class which was hard. If you do work and participate in class you'll be fine; tests are hard but directly from handouts. Interesting insights-very helpful and always available.
