The exams have stuff never talked about in class. Everyone seems to do poor on the exams. You could study for hours and still do bad. Never skipped a class and take great notes and still doing bad

She likes to show off with her PhD degree, but dear studentes make sure you double check your answers on the exams or map quizes because she might be good in Geo. but in math she is awful. She reviews before exams but a lot of questions that she never said in her lecture will be in the exam. I wouldnt take her again.

She likes to tell her students very often that she has her PHD. Her powerpoint lectures arent the same as the ones she posts in huskyct. She makes you buy a book that you will use it maybe once or twice. Have favorites and also brings politics in school. Makes mistakes on grading(PHD level,hm..?). She puts questions in exam that you cant think of

Professor Serebriakova is very sweet, she is tough in class, so make sure you're not on your phone, you take good notes and pay attention. She makes sure to let you know what's a possible open ended question on exams. There are also weekly map quizzes, not too difficult. Other than that, not a bad class.

Be prepared to study a lot for this class. Map quizzes every week. The exams are hard and the questions are tricky. The study material has nothing to do with the questions in the exam, which can be very frustrating.

She is very proud of Russia and everything revolves around it. The tests have open-ended sections that if the answer is not everything she's expecting, will get less than half credit. Her lectures are confusing because of her issues with English. Don't take her class if you don't have geographical background to fill in the blanks that she leaves.

Weekly Map quizzes. Exams are fair but come from notes which you have to get from class. A few group projects and no essays. Some extra credit given.

She is knowledgable about the subject, but there is a language barrier. She makes errors when grading- so look closely at grades. Also, the tests are random and difficult. It is unclear what she is looking for. I would avoid this class. It is time consuming. Attendance is mandatory.

Tatiana is an average teacher. Very friendly person if you behave well but very strict if you start trouble or don't do your work. Attendance is a MUST. Exams were super nit-picky and wicked tough. But if you do your homework and do well on the projects you're fine since she offers extra credit. Definitely NOT an easy A but definitely an easy B

She is somewhat nice, but her tests are very hard. Sometimes you have to dig deep for the material questions because some questions on the test were not even close to what she talked about. She does talk a lot about Russia so prepare yourself on that country alone. There are also weekly quizzes on maps. Not too much homework. Just study for tests.

She's a nice lady but her Russian accent can be hard to understand at times. Map quizzes every week, very easy, only 10 things. Exams aren't too, too bad but require studying. The final was hard, however. Do the work, study, and you should come away with at least a B. Anyone interested in geography should take a class with her.

If you copy everything down from the PowerPoint slides and memorize it all, you will get an A. I e-mailed her a few times and she didn't really answer the questions I asked because I'm assuming English isn't her first language. She puts everything online. Maps quizzes every week, very easy. Only 3 homeworks. Exams are quite difficult.
