Comment:
Not a good teacher at all. He gives hard assignments and tests. And most of your grade is based on the tests which are hard and he tries to trick you. Kind of a snarky person. Hes very vague when you go to him to ask him about what to study on tests. That nice personality in class is all a facade dont fall for it. Would never take again.

Nice guy and delivers good lectures, but hard to follow. Tests worth 100% of your grade. He claims that he includes HW but grade is based out of test grades. Silly.

nice and funny professor. Tests are very difficult, counted as the majority of the grade - about 70 percent between midterm and final. Topics are hard to grasp. Not much opportunity to do well if you are a bad test taker. Sometimes assigns papers that can improve grades. Online quizzes that do not count. Professor is knowledgeable about subject.

Amazing professor. His lectures are great but his exams are difficult and worth roughly 85% of your grade. Think twice before setting yourself up if you are not a great test taker.

Online quizzes-can redo until 100% and test questions are similar, also posts homework printouts that are really similar to test and he goes over each. Keeps class entertaining and walks through all of the material until everyone gets it. Kept the class more entertaining but you need to do the work he gives in order to do well, its doable.

He was a good professor, did a great job in teaching the material he needed to and was not too fast with it either. All of the lectures were handwritten so it was easy to keep up. One thing I did not like about him was how much he brought politics into the discussions that were clearly there to try and persuade us.

Really enjoyed Prof. DelGudice. Very bizarre and loves to rant about politics. I was late every class he didn't really care. Homeworks are optional but do them because 10/10 they will be on the tests or similar to the questions on the HW. Tests were kind of difficult but as long as you study and take good notes you will be ok!

Great professor! would definitely recommend him to anyone. he really wakes you up in the morning. very clear and understandable. answers questions with no problem. wants you to succeed. He tries to make casual conversation in the middle of lectures to grab attention of those not awake. Great guy! split the cost of the textbook with a bud if you can

He often goes over the material very quickly and assumes that everyone understands, but hes overall a good prof and will definitely give you extra help if you need it. He gives 3 tests (3rd is the final) and 1 short paper. Plus, I definitely think he curves your grade b/c my final grade was a bit higher than I was even expecting. Recommend!

3 tests, 1 research paper, hw assigned but don't have to do it. His tests are hard, they're multiple choice and pt2 fillins. He doesn't get to know anyone's name, complains all the time about the gov't yet has no solution. I found him depressing and worked hard only to get a B-. It was a mistake to take him, there are better econ profs at hofstra.

Awesome economics professor. He really hates the current political situation in America and will talk about it quite a bit, but not too much where it becomes arduous. He really knows what he is talking about when it comes to economics and is likely the best teacher to take the class with. Tells some real good stories about himself too. Take him!

He insists everyone calls him Tom, he often talks about how he dropped out of hofstra and hitch hiked across the US only to wake up in a village in India. Hes a liberal hippy but listens to everyones opinions on non-econ stuff. He is a good teacher & really easy. He doesnt give letter grades, he gives check, check-, check+, check++ etc.. hippie.

He has a short rotation on the wardrobe and He'll annoy you with his liberal comments but other than that he is a very nice guy. Does a great job at helping you understand the material.Make sure you do his homeworks because the test questions will be very similiar to them.Good guy and an easy class.
