The class has interesting topics but she does not deliver it well. She goes to fast. Her exam are very very specific. She is looking for exactly what is on the slides. Get ready to memorize.

I took a similar course with another teacher and achieve the highest grade in my class. With this teacher I got an C+ I WORKED REALLY hard, attended to all of the lectures and she just pass me.

She knows her subject and is pretty straight-forward in her explanations. However, there were too many videos shown in class which are not necessarily relevant to the material.

She shows a lot of videos and has colorful powerpoints, but her class is not really interesting. She's a very nice prof and takes attendance every class (worth 5% ). I think it might just be that the material is pretty boring, but you can tell that she tries her best to make it enjoyable. You really need to know your material for the exams!

Talks a lot, yet says nothing. She really doesn't teach anything, yet expects you to know everything on exams. She doesn't have enough content for a 13 week semester, so she wastes time by telling stories and showing Youtube videos for at least half the class. Nice enough lady, but not a good teacher. This class had potential, but she killed it.

Tima is a very good teacher. She is entertaining, she makes you want to learn more with her videos and slides. Mana 202 was harder than 201 for sure because it is more focused. Read the textbook, attend the class and try to remember every little aspect of the class. She is a though grader. Her exams are multiple choice, short, and long answers.

Good teacher. Explains concepts and theories well by relating them to real management stories that are interesting and help you understand the class. Often shows interesting videos so classes are relaxed. She's great if you're major in MANA. Not helpful though if you ask her questions and is tough 1-on-1. Assignment isn't tough. Mild workload.

this was a management class form hell!! never taking a class with this teacher again! she's a hard marker 2 exams only!!! the midterm was so hard she had to boost the grades cuz everyone was failing! she's nice yes but i don't care if i have to fail the class! never again! and its a 200 level!! its was harder than my 400 level class!

Professor Tima is really sweet. She really seemed to care about the students' well being. Classes get boring at times but she always show interesting videos each class. Exams are fair. Not sure if she is still the course coordinator. A downside is her group project; tough grader, unclear guidelines & very picky. But all in all I would recommend.

Comment:

One of the best professors at Concordia University. Extremely kind in her teaching and makes the class fun and more understanding by using day to day real stories. Fair grader and will give you the best advice to achieve a high grade. I am happy that she taught me the subject.

She tried her best to live up course material, told stories relatable to real life situations. She tried her best to grade the class generously even though the majority of people didn't attend class or chatted it up on FB the entire lesson - & then some wonder why they fail. I'd take her again in a heart beat, brought the textbook & course to life

Due to my lack of interest in the course from the very beginning, I found this class unbearably boring. Tima would do her best to make the class interesting so I give her A for effort. Very nice woman but very slow at marking papers and midterms.

She covers less than what she potentially can, doesn't discuss topics efficiently, doesn't help if you were to ask questions, is a hard marker, and attendance is mandatory. Didn't even bother doing some review for the final. I learned from the book, she was useless.

The class might get boring some times but she tries to bring some humor while she teaches and she also shows us videos (even though they arent needed for the final or midterm). She's very lenient when it comes to grading and the final was extremely easy, you just have to remember whats in your book by heart.

Comment:

Knowledgeable and passionate about material, with a good ability to communicate. Approachable, and helps out students by emphasizing and cutting out material (which is useful as she writes her own exams). Very fair marker; 90+ can be achieved with proper studying.
