Hes pretty good. Just a little disorganized. Youre going to have to do a lot of teaching and reviewing on your own. Of course with any language its probably like this. Hes funny but he calls on random people to give the answers to things so be prepared.

He is the most amazing teacher. If you ever get the chance, take him. There's no textbook for the class, it's a course pack which is awesome. The assignments are easy, just go to class and you'll do just fine. He helps where he can no matter what. Take him!

I was dreading taking a foreign language, but Prof Baginski made it so much fun! I loved him. Class time flew by. He requires class participation. He likes to make everyone in the class speak german out loud, I turn bright red when I speak in front of crowds so this bothered me. He doesn't seem to want to embarrass you, he just wants to better you

Take Baginski! He is engaging and funny, has lots of stories to tell. I didn't even do the homework (he doesn't check), and still got an A. Just study the vocab and grammar points. Straightforward, if very specific, tests; just do the few turn in assignments. One of best language teachers I've had.

easy class (never taken german before), do the hw (he doesnt check it) and class is a breeze. calls on everyone once and wants everyone to understand. patient and good at integrating old & new material. also helpful that he is german. doesnt take it too seriously, very helpful when people dont understand. study chapter vocab lists for tests.

How could you not love Dr. Baginski? I hated German class before this. I just wish I had known to take him all the way through. I learned a lot and had a great time. He's got a great sense of humor and is really nice.

great prof w/ a good sense of humor.Not afraid 2 make fun of himself if it helps U 2 learn. He tries 2 keep class fun, but U R always learning. Always do the homework. He WILL call on ea. student @ least 1x during class & if U are not prepared U will feel foolish. Do all workbook pages (even if not assigned) & U will B more than ready 4 the tests.

Really cool guy and a good teacher, but a little scatterbrained. I don't think anyone minded, though, since his tangents were usually funny and interesting. He always gets chalk all over his face, which is also entertaining.

Really exciting course, full of insights and delivered up in a seemingly spontaneous way. Yet there is clear structure and we are covering all the bases. These gems of German poetry are closely examined against their historical, biographical and political backgrounds, making a good deal of sense out of sometimes murky stuff.

Great teacher! Don't miss class or you'll miss out. Doesn't give a lot of work. Tests are easy! I studied for two hours or less and got A's on all his tests. Take him he is Great! Best way to learn a language, especially if you have no background in it.

Great teacher. He takes time to explain everything, and makes sure that everyone understands before he moves on...so if you dont, speak up! He also likes for everyone to answer atleast once during the class, do doing your homework(which is optional) is a good idea!

He's German and it shows... he appreciates hard work and doesn't have much tolerance for students who don't do the work or who miss his class. READ what he assigns (DON'T get behind... catching up is impossible) and take him seriously when he suggests you memorize things. Hardest A I've ever gotten.

Very nice and funny guy. Kinda spacy at times... very dorky, but funny. He is very helpful and so is his website. Live by it. He will help you with whatever you need. I give this course a very positive rating.
