Hes not the most enthusiastic professor that gears you into learning- hes lecture heavy and I respect his knowledge on the economic updates of the world. He uses the book for exams but I realized that he adds questions on topics that he mentioned in class. Read the book, attend class, write notes, and bring the textbook to exams. Its an easy A!

I really have trouble comprehending why the reviews for this man are so poor. He is a very good professor who makes the class interesting and really tries to get to know his students. He gives three exams and gives you extra credit and many chances to help your grade. As long as you pay attention and read the book it is not that difficult.

Professor Tooker is a pretty bad teacher. He spends the class reading out of the book or talking about his personal experiences. Doesn't give any homework--which would have probably helped a lot. Tests are easy if you are good at retaining a lot of information, otherwise, don't even bother. Tip: just read along and take notes.

Pros: Lectures are short, He's repetitive so you don't have to worry about missing a class, and he reviews the tests a week in advance, takes the time to know his students Cons: If you're a fast learner you may not be challenged by his teaching style Tips: Show up to class because even though he is repetitive, it helps with your grade

Don't understand all the complaints. He literally tells you what's going to be on the exam and its exactly what's on the exam. Granted I thought I deserved a better grade but it was probably my own fault. No attendence just get the book to study selected topics on your own and you'll be fine.

I really don't know what to believe,I heard he writes his own hi score evals on this site. The real ones from students are the poor ones.I looked on this site before I took his course. I found him boring, and a waste. What his lower ratings say is for the most part true. He likes to entertain himself. I wish the school admin would read some of them.

Professor Tooker, very straight forward, tests consist on exactly what he mentions in class, never adds anything that its not supposed to be in the test!!! and he repeats himself pleny of time so you can take good notes and do well in the test!

This guy is actually good. I'm not sure why these people are bashing him? He tells you what to study for on the test and there are no surprises when you actually take the test. I have no complaints with this professor and I'm usually the first one to complain about a professor. I can honestly tell you to take him for Money and banking.

Tooker is very cool dud; a little weird at times but the man is on top of current issues with the recession today! He will review the materials in great detail for the test but you have to attend class to get the info. Govt Bus is going well; 3 exams, class participation, NO homework, 1st test was 3 simple essays. Give the man a break and take him!

This class was a joke. He gives the exact same lecture word for word at least 3 times on each chapter. Then you go to take the test and theres absolutely nothing like what he talked about in class. He seemed to be talking to himself more than lecturing to a class. Avoid this guy if you can.

Well This dude was pretty disgusting - as he is teaching hes got his hands down his pants and his fingers in his mouth. Hilarious if you like a show as your being lectured. Overall His class was easy if you attend all the classes you will do well because he goes over the material about a hundred times and his tests are what he explains in class.

Glad to see Tooker stepped up his teaching strategies and decided to care about the students who paid mega bucks to take his class and wanted to learn something and not waste their time, etc.

Three exams, removes lowest exam, attendance important because 3/4 of exam is specifics from what he covers in class. Mark text what he discusses. Practice from test bank; most quests are from test bank. Final exam could be difficult. Managed to get B+, final not easy. Very friendly.Doesnt care about attendance.

The exams are from a TEST BANK. Attending class is pointless, a total waste of your time, money & effort. Economics is an important subject especially for those of us aspiring to work over at Wall Street. Teach yourself, do the research on your own & you'll get a "C" at best. I don't believe anyone ever received an "A" in his class. Good luck!

He is def a bit weird, he talks in one large run on sentence, and when he asks questions he immeadiately answers them himself. He can get mumbly but is very intelligent. If you take notes you should be fine, everything on the test he has said a million times in class and in the review, which is practically word for word. Generally an easy class.
