If you like teachers that use the entire class time every class and love talking about themselves she's your girl. There's only 2 exams (midterm & final), 1 paper, & 1 presentation. None of which have anything to do with what you learn in class. Have fun..

I don't get why everyone raves about her. All she does is talk about herself (teaches us more about her than public health) then gives a midterm and a final where she never went over over half of the material she gave in the study guide. Aren't teachers supposed to 'teach' you?

Take good notes, read the book during the entire class, come to all the classes, and do the home work. You will love this class and be highly motivated in it. She is a nice person, willing to help. She tries to teach you the ropes of Public Health.

Very nice person!! =) However do not think because this is a health course & a general requirement that you will do no work, because you will do several things like 2 exams, 2 guest speakers summaries, an oral presentation, independent activity & a behavior change project. Just take the class seriously. Attendence is very important.

AWESOME! 8 a.m. might seem early, but she is worth it! She is very perky and cares about everyone! Strict attendance, but she is still very understanding! Take her! It will be the best decision you ever make!

ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS IN SCSU!!! i highly recommend this class! she is an absolute sweetheart! you will love this class she takes care of her students and even helps out! she takes care of her student if it were her own children. love love love her wonderful prof. and i look up to her the most! she knows what shes talking about!! wonderful!!!!

Strict with attendance. Also, she assignes a good amount of work. It doesn't seem like much, but it all piles up and is due around the same time. Very nice lady. Always helpful. Lectures can get boring.

Very, very kind professor. Easy going, class is somewhat informal. Willing to help students if there are problems. Assigns a lot of papers and is a bit tough with grading them, but they're not so bad. Class can get sort of boring sometimes. Has classes in Davis. Guest speakers are awesome. She knows a lot about what she's teaching. Recommended!

great teacher and super easy. gave a study guide for tests. there were a lot of assignments but they were easy too. lots of guest speakers which was cool and she does raffles whcih is also fun. hard on attendence, but the class is good anyway so going isnt bad.

This class is easy. How someone can get anything less than an A is besides me. I learned a lot. Great guest speakers, hard on attendance but you have chances to make them up but listening to more guest speakers. The only reason its hard to go to this class is cause it started at 8:10!!
