Took online. The guidelines are pretty straightforward and the course work is consistent. Usually just three forum postings and a quiz every week. Couple essay assignments. Need the book for quiz, most answers can be found pretty easily.

If you are taking this class online buy the book through amazon on the kindle reader. You can use kindle on mac/pc but trust me. You can search on the kindle reader which makes taking the quizzes so much more easier because you will not actually have to "read" the chapter, just search keywords. His quizzes aren't very easy if you are lazy like i am

Online class was very straight forward. Read a chapter a week, post a forum, and take a quiz. Can retake quizzes three times. Essays were frustrating because it was not clear what he wanted, and there was a max word count. Teacher also takes several weeks to grade assignments

Took his online course. Straight forward. Every week read the chapter and take a quiz along with discussion. 4 Short essays in between. No exams, just quizzes. One of the easiest online classes I've ever taken. if you read the book and do all the assignments it's an easy A.

He gives out at least 2 opportunities for extra credit per unit which can help you if you don't do so well on the unit exams. He doesn't grade on attendance but you will miss out on lectures which are all oral and written on the board, so it would be best to attend regularly.

The class it self is very easy, however the tests are hard because there is so much information to memorize. I suggest doing all the extra credit he offers and make sure to do the homework, there's only 9 assignments for the whole semester. The only hard part is the exam so make sure to study!

A true lecturer. If you don't like group projs and like working alone, this is the class. Take good notes as he covers everything required as history knowledge. Always repeats last lecture notes so have continuity; thats why you can't miss class. Adds humor every once in awhile. Gives extra credit to keep afloat.

Hist152 Online: You CANNOT fail this class! Each week there's a quiz but if you read the chapter, you cannot fail. Plus, you have 3 tries and they'll take the highest score. The discussion posts + 2 replies is super easy to do. There are essay questions you need to do, but trust me, its really easy to do. Bonus! There's no exam!! :)

I took both of his HIST 151 and 152 classes. Recommended professor to take! You answer 2 questions for every chapter. Be there for every lecture, gives out extra credit. Exams are all from notes and book. Must read book!

I took his online class. Super easy to pass class as long you read each chapter, literally read from beginning to end of each chapter. There is a quiz after each chapter and he gives you the option to write your essays based on a total of four (4) questions and you only need to answer two(2). And he reminds you through email what is due each week.

Registered for his online class, checked the Laulima, you gotta do 5 essays, no thanks!! i dropped out almost immediately. I want a history class not an english class. id rather do quizzes and tests. if you have no problem with essays you should take this hehe seems like a nice guy.

I already hated history as it is, but this lecture style class was torture. it was so dry and boring and the tests were way too long. going to class was rough. if you do not like history, i do not recommend this class at all.

Barry N. s one of the best history teachers I have ever had. He nakes the material easy to understand. If you attend his lectures there should be no problem passing the class. He splits the class in 3 terms with three exams covering each term, so not to make you learn the whole semester for one test. Take his class if you want an easy A.

Nakamura is a must to take. His lectures are pretty short and he gets side tracked, but his way of teaching is great. he cuts the semister into 3 so he avergaes them out. gives extra credit from watching videos. his class is easy.
