Does not encourage you to participate, because he laughs at every question, yet participation is the only way to pass. Tests are ridiculously hard, but there is a heavy curve. Does not give out A's, so don't expect to get a good grade no matter how hard you try. Worst class I've taken at LMU.

Horrid teacher. Great boss. He teaches as if he is the boss you wish you didn't have. While that is a great learning experience, don't expect a professor who makes you want to come to class. Calls you out, has confusing and misdirected lectures, and cares more about his research than your learning. Don't take his class if you don't have to.

3 tough tests and a project. be ready for a different teaching style all together. you have to bust your butt, but its SO worth it. He recognizes hard work and is definitely there for guidance if you ever need it. I'm taking him for a second class and I know a friend taking him for her third class with him. great teacher!

Bobo is great. He is always available in his office to help a student out. I have sat with him for hours talking about things from class to important matters in life. He is really nice. His class is hard but it is that way with any FINC class. Take Bobo he will make you laugh and you will enjoy the course.

he's kind of a jerk he will call on you and make fun of you especially when you don't know the answer. doesn't take attendance and doesn't know your name. no hw assigned. 2 midterms, final, and project. curves a lot on the tests. if he tells jokes that aren't funny just laugh at them... it's for your own good

Seems intimidating and quite humorous. Teaching style bolder than others but really helps. HW is optional but helpful. Grades on curve and he's clear if you ask him to be or go during his office hours. Will pick on you if you're not paying attention!

It's very difficult to understand him. He doesn't take the time out to explain. I didn't learn ANYTHING in his class. He also thinks he's funny and he's NOT. He does curve a lot but that's only because he doesn't teach the class anything. It's your call. This class was a total waste of time.

I really didn't think Bobo was all that great. Yes, he was funny, but his tests were ridiculously hard, and everything he tested you on was completely different than the way he taught it in class. He curves a lot, which is nice, but this is only because everyone would fail the class if he didn't. I learned absolutely nothing in this class.

Hilarious in class, keeps your attention. Can seem a little mean sometimes, but it's just his humor. The lectures may be hard to understand, but he curves the exams like a mother. He doesn't check homeworks, 3 exams during the year, and a semi-tough project.
