Comment:

Professor Lammer's is a great teacher every comment on him is accurate. The class is easy and enjoyable in learning history. Only reason I wouldn't take this class again was because of the amount of essays. We had 3 short essays, 2 take home essays, a midterm essay and final essay. They were rough, but doable.

Comment:

Excellent teacher, thorough and clear. There have been three outstanding history profs so far at Caldwell, and Dr. Lammers is one of them. You will work hard, but the assignments are interesting, and you will learn the material.

Comment:

Professor Lammers is the definition of class. He's an outstanding professor and gives critical analysis to complex eras of History. He adds context, deep discussion, and perspective to what he teaches. He's also incredibly understanding and more than willing to work with you with whatever issue you may have. He's a real gem in Caldwell.

Dr. Lammers is awesome. He is funny and always willing to help you with your papers; you could turn them in early and he will review them before you submit them. Easy class also, definitely recommend taking him.

Awesome professor and amazing man. I had him for several class a few years back and still reflect on his class and him as a man often. Remarkable intelligent yet has his feet on the ground. Great teacher and just a good man

I would lack word to describe him. You will accept the fact that history subject is interesting by taking his class. Just remember to go through his plans and you will get an A. I didn't know that he is FC Barcelona fan !!

no final, homework every week, EASY quizzes, he puts everything on black board and is very organized. His class is very basic. Hard grader. Overall hes a cool guy and if your looking for a class to fill up credits i would recommend it.

Amazing teacher. I would recommend him to anybody. Just as long as you do the readings and do your work on time, you'll do fine. He has high expectations, but he's definitely there to help. He's funny and will make history relevant and interesting.

He is probably the best teacher in the college. He's very intelligent, and throughout class he bombards you with all the interesting knowledge. He is demanding, but his classes are rewarding. Even if he were in Princeton or Duke, he would have been best teacher over there.

Such a great professor! His sense of humor is really appreciated (though it's a little bit off-center), and his teaching style is really awesome. As long as you go to class and pay attention/take notes, you're golden. I never thought I'd ever be interested in South Africa's period of apartheid, but Dr. Lammers made it interesting.

Extremely good lecturer. No one likes history, but everyone likes him. Make sure you take notes because he doesn't give many, just a guide. Gives study guide for tests. Makes jokes about fat kings and stuff a lot. His head moves funny too...

Dr Lammers has to be the best professor at Caldwell. He took a subject that I did not think I had interest in or had exposure to in over 20 years and made me look forward to learing more. He is knowledgeable, interesting, and has a unique sense of humor. Take this guy for anything he teaches, you will not be dissappointed!

Excellent teacher-the best I've had at Caldwell! His lecturers are interesting. He combines videos, handouts, pictures, and great books which provide a broad overview of the subject. Easy to talk to, eager to help, always available to the students, fair with grades. Be prepared to work hard, but it is worth it!

Such a good lecturer. Very clear as to what he wants. He gives you all of the questions on the quizzes and tests, so if you don't do the work, it's your own fault. I don't love history that much, but he makes it enjoyable to learn about and I learned a lot.

This was my first course with Dr. Lammers. The man is simply one of the most intelligent men I have ever met. He's more than fair in his grading, & you will certainly learn if you're willing to do a little thing called school work. He & I had many after-class discussions/debates in his office. He's respectful, patient, & understanding. Thanks Doc!

Dr. Lammers is a very good teacher. His tests are moderately difficult but on the whole they are very fair. YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION in his class otherwise you could get lost.
