Comment:

Good professor. He helped us start the projects in class so we would know how to properly complete them on our own. He also offered plenty of resources for us to complete our projects to the best of our ability despite the fact that the projects for LaTeX were pass/fail. Also, Schumacher's class was never a bore due to his unique sense of humor.

Comment:

A very eccentric guy. You really need to pay attention because he goes through the material incredibly fast. However, he made class and the subject so enjoyable and he was very passionate about what he taught. He is very helpful and such a caring guy.

Only Dr. S. could have made me get up at 8am for a calc class AND enjoy it! He's fun, he knows his stuff, and he is a good guy who cares about his students!

Comment:

Dr. Shumaker falls into the "coco" range of profs. Probly a lil to crazy to do anything in the real world. The tests are decently fair, but graded hard. Don't expect to learn much in lecture. If you have other choices that don't include Frey or Braithwaite, pick them.

Professor Schumacher is very eccentric, but he has no shortage of crazy stories to keep class entertaining - never a dull moment. He is a good teacher and grades fairly.
