Super Picky at the beginning her Class is okay but it gets worse she send numerous emails. I honestly can not wit for the semester to end so I can be done with this class !!! Would not Recomend her. She starts with emails even before the semester begins

She is picky ! Honestly dropped the class because i could've done better but she's so picky on format. If one things off you lose 3 points. Participation is Mandatory. I could not deal with her any longer

I am not an easy student to have. I send numerous emails with questions, and ask instructors to double check answer on tests etc. Mrs. G was very understanding and had tons of patience with me. I had a bunch of technological issues that she gently helped me figure out. Just communicate with her! She wants her students to succeed. Thx Mrs. G!

i am currently taking this online class and lets just say that i cannot wait until the semester is over for this class! ridiculous assignments shes not clear and is so picky about the way you format..doesnt give you the opportunity to be yourself!! take another professor..

The instructor said she is easy to work with but she isn't. She stands by her rules which for this kind of class are strict. She is quick to respond to emails & discussion board posts but does not give any credit to late assignments. The book is ok but outdated. The personality tests are fun & interesting. Tests are ambiguous true/false. Not fun.

I would highly recommend Couns 100 for any person unsure about career goals, but, I would not recommend this teacher. Even when she is wrong, she will not admit it. Always check your email - even on a holiday - because she sends out spontaneous assignments that must be completed within 24hrs. Her class was a big, unneeded headache - and I got an A.

This class is super easy but don't think there is not work just because it's an online class. The work load is like any other class. Her lectures are a bit redundant sometimes but all her assignments will help you to succeed in life. I would recommend this class just be on top of your stuff.

I took this online class thinking it would be an easy A...it was, and so much more! Mrs. Gleason is a great teacher, she has really great lessons that really help you learn more about yourself. Great class if you're not sure what you want to do with your life. Like another student said...you have to be stupid/lazy not to get an A in the class!

Ms. Gleason is not so good with online courses nor is she with students. She offers no assistance with questions you may have for her. She teaches a great course, and a few of her assignments are very useful but she wasn't so helpful. You have to be good on your own b/c there's no support. Also, she wasn't on top of her material at beginning.

Cares more about the justification of your papers, formats, writing "dear class" in your posts and having students buy in to her power trips. A blind monkey could teach this class and that would be an improvement over her. The class is easy, but be ready to waste some time from your life and bite you lip over stupid things you will have to study.

Online instructor that makes you buy useless personality tests as part of the class. She is all hypersensitive on how you format your papers and don't ever forget to say "Dear Class" or "Sincerely" at the end of a discussion board post...very anal prof.

Her online class should be an easy A, just do the work. There is no studying involved, all tests are open book- keep the handouts because the questions are from them & the text. She's quick to respond & gives good feedback for why she gave you the grade she did & how to improve. Good class to take even if you know what career you want to go into.

Took her Summer online course. She's very helpful with everyone, gave you multiple times to try a certain assignment. Gave lots of feedback, promptly. Sure flaky, but in a very positive way. I think she is a very kind person who sees many student finally finding a (career)goal in her class. The students were although online, bonding with eachother.

If you believe heavily in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, you'll probably like the class. If, like me, you consider it little more than a theory you probably won't. Gleason seems quite flaky and ambiguious about what she wants from you. If you can avoid taking this class, you might be happier than those of us attempting to muddle through her muck.
