Comment:

Offensive, impossible to hear, non cohesive sentences. Easy grade but manages to take a 100 student lecture and diminish it to 30 within two weeks since EVERYONE SLEEPS. I checked.. everyone is doing something else other than listening..NEXT!!!

This professor really got under my skin. He made a lot of ignorant comments about Africa. I was really looking forward to this class but after the second day, I was very disappointed in his teaching style. I do not recommend taking any of his classes

I was so hype for this class until i walked in, attendance doesn't count he is so confusing, take home final and midterm which still sucked cuz i never learned! if you want a easy prof take him but you will be bored, missed one class a week a real waste of my life! Nice man though only test nothing else counted

Avoid at all causes!!!! he is so unclear, lectures are boring and his grading policy is so confusing (plus u cannot reach him for the grade explanation- never replied to your e-mails or in the office during the office hours)

I am not going to lie, Thomas is a cool person but he is exceptionally boring. Class was a nightmare and he made it even worse. Talks too fast that it is hard to take notes from what he is saying. No need to go to class just read the book and shows up for the final exam. Thank goodness, this nightmare is over.

at first when i saw the comments people left him i thought i was headed fora horrible classwith horrible tests. however, he is very nice although he can mumble and be unclear. surprisinlgly, he allowed students to retake his exam when they got F's or C-'s. Many moved up their grade to an A or B. So in the end it was all good!!

He's one of the best professor at BC, he has extensive knowledge of the subject and is a fair grader. I took him for two different classes and there have been low points, but his lectures are interesting for the most part.

I think that Prof. Thomas is a very good teacher. He is a very calm, straight forward and passionate teacher about the subjects that he teaches. I liked my class with him because he taught us alot about Africa and the European dealings with Africa and it's people. O, his tests aren't hard at all...

This is the Political systems of Africa - Political Science course. He is the second worst professor in BC that I've had, but the reading on Africa is interesting. I went to class 7 times out of the semester, did well on the exams and got an A. He doesn't care about attendance.

i cant stand this guy,worst prof. i ever had, does not know how to teach, sitting through class is torture, he runs from one topic to another, never making a point, he gives a sample of his test but everyone does bad anyway, he just randomly asigns grades

He is the worst core teacher i've ever had. his teaching style is terrible, he is all over the place. for the final he gave the essay questions beforehand but most of the class did bad anyways.There is no homework or term paper but the final is all luck.
