She is a clueless prof. Portfolios are easy. Quick tip, go to her office hours to show her your portfolio and it is an easy A. Although it is annoying because she can't remember when she assigns things. pretty bad teacher but easy A

She is annoying however, the 3 grades she gives throughout a semester are easy. You can get up to 4 points every time for a total of 12 points.As long as you go above and beyond on the portfolios each time you will get a 4.It is not hard at all to get the 4.The papers she assigns are not part of your grade they're just in the portfolio. Easy A

what ever you,do not take this class, especially if you care about your GPA. I received all straight As working very hard to achieve a solid GPA and she screwed me over completely. She is just way to spacey, in class she told me to write a paper on such and such then when I turned it is she asked why I would this paper? Worst teacher ever.

The class is very inconsistent and she has no clue what she is doing. She is a nice person but I could not take this class seriously. She could not keep track of when she said certain assignments were due. This class is frustrating and I do not recommend it at all. I was put into it without a choice and if you can avoid it then you should.

You only get 3 grades the entire semester, so if you do bad on 1 of them, it is impossible to get an A. She doesn't teach, you either watch a movie or answer questions she gives you. She is so oblivious and doesn't know when assignments are due or even when we have class. One time she yelled at us for not going a paper when it wasn't due yet.

doesnt really do anything in class. gives a lot of readings that are long and all essays are comparative. 5 essays. doesnt grade them on how good they are, mostly on their effort and if you did rough drafts, outlines, took notes during discussions.

she doesnt really tell you what's expected of you. but you dont do any work in class usually. there are 3 portfolios that will give you your grade. so your grade is out of 12 points. it's hard to get an a. i got an a- and worked hard on my portfolios. she doesnt grade your papers, so you probably dont even need to put effort into them.

The most unproffesional teacher I have ever encountered in the English department. Grading is incosistent. She loses student papers, she doesn't show up to class, and plays FAVORITES. Loves gossiping about other students in the class. I took nothing from this class. My english courses in a PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL were 10,000x better.

this teacher is really interesting. she loves class interaction and people having a dialogue with her. also the most important thing is active reading and the groupe presentation. active reading from beginning to end and not summarising each page but having a dialogue and commenting on the pages... if you do this and speak up and smileanddress nice

Poor grading criteria and broad grading system. Few get higher than a 2 (C grade) . She will not discuss content of your essay and will typically find grammar and MLA mistakes. Frequently makes assignments overlap and leaves large gaps in between assignments. Do not be fooled by niceness, show endless effort, avoid her class, very frustrating

Class is a joke. I cant believe im wasting $32,000 on profs like her. Today in class, we read outloud to eachother for 75 straight minutes. She doesn't even read your papers, and there is no system or rubric that determines your grade. You couldn't pay me to take one of her classes again. Most bogus woman ever.
