Comment:

Dr.Stanley was not the worst teacher at WSU,but certainly not the best either. I was lucky I had a very smart ambitious group to work with on group projects and that made all the difference, since we had mostly group projects for this class. Her assignments were pretty clear, but she was not an easy grader either

This "Professor" (who has a doctorate...)is THE worst professor I have ever had at Westfield State College. She is the biggest offender of the so called "classroom mgmt" techniques she preaches. She can hardly speak in clear sentences using proper grammar...sounds like an idiot. When straight A students get D's on exams...there is a problem!

I can only reiterate all of the above comments. Our final consisted of writing a paper with another student in two hours from scratch, which constituted a major portion of the final grade. My partner was a HS Math teacher, I'm Elem Ed/Writing. Try that one on. She's even had an entire class mutiny and refuse to talk to her for a week one semester.

She is the worst professor I have had in both my undergraduate and graduate career. Extrememly unprofessional, makes ridiculous accusations, doesn't justify her grading and blames students for making mistakes. I learned absolutely nothing in this class from her and everything I did learn was on my own. Useless class, PLEASE AVOID HER!

Horrible teacher....Could care less about you or if someone close to you dies. Doesn't know what she is talking about and it all comes out of the book directly. She doesnt practice what she teaches and thinks she's always right about you. Avoid her at all costs! She should not be working atWSC!!!

Cheryl Stanley was one of the WORST professors I ever had -- she was rude, boring, and unprofessional. Her course was a waste of time and money! She taught me to reflect on what a good educator is and what a good educator is not. Sadly, Cheryl is the latter!

The woman needs to take the class herself, not be teaching it. She has no idea what she is talking about at any given moment... Stanley weill preech first-person language, but doesn't know how to use it herself. She is rude, and VERY unlear and unfair in her grading... stay away, she's an idiot!

Directions, assignments, rubrics grading are unclear. Truly looking forward to this class.Unknowledgeable of the subject and asks students in SPED major many questions b/c she doesn’t know the answers. She needs to take a good look at this course and be a REFLECTIVE TEACHER as the stress upon us!

Teaching Early Intervention but clueless about the differences between modifications, accomodations etc. Unclear about assignments, grades unfairly, gives back assignments very late. Not a pleasant experience.
