Dr. Hardy is great. I took him for cognition... a hard class but he was always willing to help. Tests can be difficult but are mainly based on lectures so make sure to study lecture slides thoroughly. He has in class activities that count for your participation grade.

This class is based off some very hard tests so be prepared to work your butt off and go into office hours. He is so nice and if you show him you're trying he will make your grade reflect it even if you're doing poorly on tests. I suggest doing problems in the book and going to office hours.

Most boring unhelpful teacher ever. It takes all my will power to not fall asleep. His test are completely different then what he teaches in class. Even when the entire class does poorly on a test he says he sees nothing wrong with it. DONT TAKE HIM

Best part of class was that he didn't take attendance. I studied SO hard for all of the tests and actually enjoyed learning this subject, & got a D on the first 2 tests. & his advice to me was to "quiz myself." Not helpful at all. Boring lectures. Nice guy though.

He has a little quirk of always saying, "you know" after every sentence but if you ask him a question he'll most likely respond with "I don't know." His knowledge of psychology does not exceed what the book already provides you with. You have to be your own teacher in this class and just read the book if you want to learn anything.

he is the most boring and angering professor i have ever had. makes you read the chapter, quizzes you, then teaches WORD FOR WORD what's in the book. tests are really difficult and very conceptual even though he doesn't teach. office hours are pointless. blames the students for not studying enough. dont take his for pysch 100.

He is great! He actually cares about his students. Me and my friend love him. He has a twin, how can u not? Psychology Senior seminar/Capstone was great! Thank God I took him again. 4 exams, 1 paper I recommend him to everyone. Congratz class of 2008!!!!

A lot of people give Hardy crap about being boring, but it is not a comedy improv class. He is clear and he goes slow . . which is very helpful. He divides up the different problem types on tests (instead of throwing all of the confusing problems together). He is kind, patient, helpful and nice to look at. I really enjoyed his class!

for psych 100, he is probably one of the worst professors. Scratch that, make that the worst at LMU. Each test is HARD/COMPLEX multiple choice, no study guides to help you out, distant lectures and blames low test averages on "the class not studying." He also insulted me duirng office hours. I never had more anger towards a professor. please avoid.

Pretty much the nicest man you will ever meet. He gives hand-outs, has students do in-class problems... just makes an effort towards making a fairly boring subject clear and at least mildly engaging. If you must take Stats, take it from Dr. Hardy!

I love Dr Hardy! He really wants his students to do well and is very helpful. He knows that stats is an unavoidably boring class but he does a great job at making things clear. Hes kinda quirky too, super hilarious. Im definitely gonna take more classes with him. This class is easy as long as you just do a little memorization in the beginning.
