The best Math teacher I've taken so far. He's very accessible outside of class, and he really wanted you to succeed in the course. His lectures were great and exceptional; he used many real-world examples as the course goes along, making it easier to know how it is applied. His tests are hard, though, so do all the practice problems.

His lectures and office hours were some of the best ones I've ever received from a Math teacher. However, don't expect to get a B, let alone A, if you don't do the practice problem sets; "hard" is an understatement to his tests. He offered a good amount of extra credits, even in the tests. If you do study, Calc. III with him will be no trouble.

Dr. Teets is VERY good at explaining concepts. He makes sure everyone has the concepts down before he launches into examples, which are plenty. His grading can be a bit rough, but it is fair. His tests are a reflection of his lectures and the homework, and are very easy if you know what you are doing. He also has a great, nerdy sense of humor.

Teets is one of the better math professors I have had. The classes are laid back, and he teaches things in a very clear way. The tests are not difficult if you have worked the homework problems (which are not mandatory, but I would recommend). No complaints whatsoever. A++.

Great teacher! Class is difficult only because the material itself is difficult. He provides lots of examples and is a very fair grader. He cares more about you understanding the concepts and how to use them than anything else and doesn't waste you're time making you solve integrals that can be done with Maple.

Teets is by far my favorite mathematics professor, he is a patient person who will never give up on a student willing to learn. He also happens to be the Bob Ross of mathematics, but that is beside the point. Anyone who didn't score this man amazingly is a complete idiot and should consider an arts degree.

Very thorough teacher. Goes through all of the material so that you know everything you need to know to be successful in the classes that it is a prereq for. Explains things clearly so that it is easy to understand. Is willing to help students as much as necessary to get them to succeed, is in his office to help usually even outside of office hours

Overall a good instructor. Sometimes goes pretty fast, but will slow down if asked. Helpful with office hours if needed. He lectures a lot and most homework is optional (though highly encouraged if you want to pass.) Dry sense of humor keeps class interesting. He also rocks a killer mustache.

Differential equations was probably the most challenging class that I have ever taken. That being said, Teets was quite possibly my favorite math professor. He presented the information in an understandable format and was more than willing to help those who were struggling.

Dr Teets is an extremely good instructor. If you pay attention in class and turn in the homework, you should have no problem getting a good grade in his class. The best teacher i have ever had.
