If you took AP Gov expect an easy A. Her notes are all over the place and never compare to the text. Lectures are very interesting, and she tries to make the subject relatable. If gov is not your thing, oh well, but she's a sweet grandmother type person that will go out of her way to help you. 1 paper assigned (5 pg.) and it can be about anything

I hate government. I do. Politics and all bores me. However, she was a very sweet lady and had her jokes here and there that were fun! She expects opinions and discussions though and her grading is a tad hard but it's not bad. You have to read the textbook though. I didn't and I was lost everyday. But I passed so... She's nice, but the subject = eh

The class itself was difficult at times and it was important to stay on top of things in order not to get lost. But, Stratmann did her best to keep the class interested and explained everything in a way that made sense. She is very intelligent and cares a lot about her students, I would recommend her to anyone!

Nice lady that knows her stuff. Makes the difficult material as easy to understand as possible. Most students whined about how hard her tests were, but as long as you STUDY and have some common sense, you'll do well. Her directions are always clear and she's an easy essay grader. Difficult material, but great teacher!

She is genuinely a nice person, but the class is difficult and very boring if you have no interest in politics. The tests are hard so YOU MUST READ THE TEXT. Lectures are boring and don't follow any type of logical outline so it is difficult to focus and understand the info. Bottom line: nice professor, very hard class.

i think she is a wonderful professor. not to easy but not extremely hard. she is able to keep my interests throughout the class. she was clear and very helpful. i reccomend her! im glad i got to take her this semester.
