Avoid her if you can. She doesn't really teach, puts questions on tests/quizzes that she didn't really go over. She'll tell you that you have a good idea on a project then proceed to give you a bad grade w/o talking to you about what the issues were. She isn't very approachable.

Only good part of the class was when Dr. Schreier lectured. Dr. Claassen didn't even give lectures most of the time. She made us do "In Class Activities" and turn them in for participation points. It was pointless busy work and reminded me of high school. Her exam questions always have flaws in them. Overall awful experience.

the labs are pretty easy; recitation is pointless as she reads off of her slides; she is unapproachable and has the lab reports graded so you can get the lowest possible points; she is NOT approachable b/c she assumes that u have been skipping lectures if you ask questions;exams are impossible bc most of the material is not taught so it's hopeless

Go to her office hours if you have questions, she is extremely helpful! Some labs can be tiring and annoying, but then some labs are exciting. Exam are very tricky! Study hard for her lab quizzes and do well on the labs and lab reports so if you do average on exams, it won't hurt you much!

The teacher has a very simple grading style, where you get to drop one lab and one quiz, and you have 2 comprehensive tests. However, her anti-plagiarism system can ruin your grade, as she gave one of my friends a 50% on a paper even though he didn't plagiarize and even proved he didn't plagiarize.
