I do not have enough kind words for this professor. He is the most inspiring man I have ever encountered, with that being said you MUST study and read the book. Ask questions, and write everything down. I went from Pre-Law to Pre-Med because of him, amazing!

He is kinda nuts... He overexplained things and I overall hated the class. We never used the book & the fact that you had to go to the testing center every week to do quizzes is stupid.

I'm in his BIO 111 class right now and i have to say i enjoy this class. everytime anyone has a question he always comes to your table and explains what he wants you to do then helps you through it.he always relates his notes to something to help you understand it better i recommend taking this teacher

he makes the class interesting by givin funny examples and making jokes. he's one of the few teachers actually interested in you passing his class (sometimes, he will even mark a couple of your answers right when you get them wrong) he is retiring but he is comming back as a part time teacher. DO TAKE HIM!

A really nice guy,actually cares about his students.Cracks jokes every now and then.Helps you as much as he can & his notes are easy to understand, don't forget your colors.Quizzes are taken in the testing center & can be taken more then once. Tests aren't too bad if u pay attention. Really enjoyed his class,was lucky to take it before he retired.

He is a very nice man and a very good teacher. I took him for Bio 112 and you get an A on all the labs if you do them, his tests are easy (you just look over your notes and read the book), and he's funny. If you are having problems or need to make up a test or lab, he's very flexible. We have no quizzes, just a few lab practicals. Highly recommende

Personally, I think this instructor needs to retire, He is very forgetful and arrogant to male students. He is boring as heck and his tests are absolutely ridiculous. He also is the director of the biology department, that does not say much for Moraine.

Mr. Devine is the nicest professor I've had. Study off his notes and you'll get a A in the class. Side Note: You will have to attend every class for notes because he uses a projector and class attendance is mandatory

I have no idea what these kids are talking about. Prof. Devine is awesome, class is mandatory bc of labs. if you email him or talk to him, hell let you do the labs on your own time. He's very helpful and cares about students and their future. He helped me w/my other classes and got me tutoring for math. he helped me pick a major, he is the best

Devine is an old-fashioned teacher. He likes to be "funny" and is laid back. his class isn't hard at all. He helps you A LOT when you ask. He's not mean at all and enjoys teaching. Quizzes in testing center suck but you have to keep up with them. At times the class DRAGGED cuz it was at 8 in the morn but overall hes a gd teacher!!

Very nice teacher but wayyy to strict and picky about assignments, especially labs. Overall he is a good teacher but you really have to earn the grade that you receive in his class. Very helpful and is willing to talk to you 1 on 1 and help you with whatever you need help with. I would take him again even though the class was hard.

I thought he was the worst teacher ever. He skipped out on soo much which really needs attention. You have to read the book in order to understand. He talks really slow. He's boring. The labs suck. We have to take quizzes on them outside of class on your own time which is a waste of time!
