The first day of class you will be petrified. She is scary. But one you get through the semester she isn't too bad. She can't teach though. And she has an accent which is hard to understand. One time something got messed up in one of the labs and it took most of the class to figure it out because she had no idea. Don't take for Bio I. I

I had Nia for fund of Bio I Lab a class that is demanding in itself. She is not helpful and the first half of the semester was rough. But once she felt comfortable with how we wrote up our lab reports, she started giving out hundreds to everyone. This class was worth it in the end.

Take her with caution. She is hard to understand and doesnâ??t really understand you when you ask her a question. She grades you based on how much you write, but doesnâ??t read it. If you survive her course, youâ??ll be golden as a bio major.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!! If you actually want to learn in this class chose another professor. Professor Nia does not teach, she Google's her lessons while in class and her exams are the online quizzes for the book. The way you study for the exams you can't learn and if you study to learn you will not pass the exam! I did not learn at all!

At first, she seems terrible and scary, however if you are open minded she is actually really sweet and caring. She grades so easy, but you have to know what to do before the labs because she wont help you once you start.

Like everybody else said, horrible. If you can take another professor, do it. I had to teach myself every week what I was supposed to learn in lab. She does always let you out early though, and most labs she gave me 100 solely because she didn't read them. Midterm and final you are doomed for though.

TERRIBLE! Doesnt teach, expects you to teach yourself. 5 quizses based on the lab topic, practical quizzes. Literally grades labs during class & skims. Grades based on LENGTH instead of content. Could add a bible passage & she would never know. She loses paperwork & deducts pts for it. Unfair grader & unclear. Students are often correcting her.

On this site there are sample quizes where she gets half the questions to her exams. The other half she makes up and they're not hard if you study. If you memorize, you really can't fail. She is pretty tough with attendence... She'll do it twice in case you leave after break.. but she always lets out like an hour early. She also let everyone leave

Yes, Nia will come off as one tough woman. However, after about 2 or 3 labs she is one of the nicest teachers who really strives to help her students. Midterm and final are really hard, but arent all lab tests?? study up!! Awesome woman who will make you learn!!
