Very reasonable class schedule and workload. Don't wait till the last minute to cram all the assignments and projects. Yes it is "online", so use it to your advantage. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any question.

Comment:

Easy A if you are fine with talking, communicates. The class have no tests and big projects. But lots of small projects, homework, teamworks, and talking. The professor is very nice and a good listener.

If you get anything under an A in her class its because you dont take school serious, dont show up, and dont realize how good you've got it. 10/10 would recommend, its hard to believe anyone actually rates her less than perfect. Read the old comments, theyre clearly from unmotivated people. Its a shame she doesn't teach all my business class.

She was a really great professor that always want students to pay-attention , asking questions whenever we didn't understand subject. It's all about group work and group project. Professor Shankus also teach 430 as well .My recommendation that if anyone has the same major with me than you should never ignore her course . Hope it was helpful .

Evy is such a kind teacher. Her lectures and very interesting and she has a very bubbly personality so she makes things fun. I have taken her for two classes now and have loved both. It's the normal amount of work, reading, a few assignments, and a few quizzes. She is always willing to help you when needed.

Class is composed of individual assignments, group assignments, & participation. Evy makes you think critically about your writing when completing her assignments. The assignments aren't difficult as long as you listen during class & take your time completing them. She will teach you valuable communication skills that will help you in your future.

Really shows care for students. Assignments are straight forward and clear. Keep up with the syllabus and due dates and you will succeed. She keeps class sessions interesting and informative. Was rarely bored in her class. She allows her students to give feedback and is very engaging/interactive

I love professor Shankus! She's very caring and want her students to success. She's also very organized and very respectful to her students. The class assignments, group discussion, and group works are extremely useful, because it's related to the real world problem. I enjoy taking her class very much, and I would definitely recommend it!

Most of this class is dedicated to the group project. Absolute stickler for APA style. Be sure to like your group members or you'll be miserable, everything is done in your group. EVERYTHING. The presentation is a lot more relaxed, just make sure you hit all your "points" you're going to go over in the paper. Methodology is huge. Overall nice lady.

Although her class is structured heavily on you figuring out things on your own she is an excellent professor and person. If you like being spoon fed then this isn't the class for you. She gives engaging lectures and offers a great learning environment. I would definitely take her again, the only issue I had was there was unneeded busy work at time

Evelyn is one of the best professors I have had. She taught us to think critically about the entire writing process. I fell into the leadership roll for our project (something new to me)which pushed me and bettered my skills as a leader. Her lectures are very inspiring and she brings a lot of energy. I highly recommended taking her courses.

Really great professor, not a ton of homework. If you come to class, participate, and pay attention it's super easy to do well. Sometimes her grading criteria gets lost amidst the sea of other things going on in the class. If you hate group projects, this would not be the class to take. The entire quarter is a big group project, so choose wisely.

Lectures can drag on and seem like they don't mean anything, however pay attention. She doesn't upload grades on canvas, but you can ask her and she'll tell you. Very helpful, great feedback on assignments after they are returned. Tough grader on the final paper.

Awesome teacher but hard ass grader. Had a 98.4 in her class but still didn't receive a 4.0 but did learn a lot. If you're a GPA junkie you probably shouldn't take this class, but then again what alternatives do you have? Lol. She cool but nobody has gotten a 4.0 I was the closest.

Comment:

Great Senior Lecturer at UWT Milgard School of Business. Been around for 20+ years. Knows her stuff. Runs her own business on the side. Real life examples and experience to draw upon for interesting lectures. Slightly vague group projects and grading can leave you feeling lost but just ASK FOR HELP. Struggle through it and you will be better for it
