This is my second time taking this course and I understand everything SO much better with Nifiatis teaching. The fact that he has the powerpoints printed out for you with examples helps a lot. As long as you do the work in the book and ask questions when needed, this class is extremely easy. I wish I'd had him as a teacher for all my chem classes!

I love him!!Highly Recommended. You get used to his accent He makes power points he prints for you and is very clear with his teaching. Hes very helpful and doesn't mind getting asked questions. He is very thorough. Its hard but you just have to study. He assigns hw from the textbook but you dont have to hand it in.

He is definately my favorite professor at Plattsburgh. The material is hard and his tests are tough but if you study you can get a good grade. He distributes his powerpoint slides and they are very clear to understand. Definately the best to take Organic Chemistry with. The class is not boring and he is funny too!

Nobody can doubt that he makes sure his students know their stuff. He gives you all the notes and he offers review sessions before tests. He obviously wants people to do well. But believe me when I say, this class is VERY HARD. so you're going to have to work hard, no matter what teacher you have, you'll have to work hard. good luck.

I have never enjoyed chemistry but taking it with Nifiatis wasn't half bad. He is veryy intelligent and willing to help. If you take notes in class, ask questions, do his review assignments, and study you will do fine. He is very patient.

Very good teacher. It's only 101, but he goes slow for even that. He makes sure everyone knows the information before he goes on to the next topic. Very helpful and clear to what he wants for the test. No mandatory out of class work and just 3 tests. Good teacher and he has a really cool accent
