Professor Cardimen is really accessible outside of class and is willing to work with you if you have to miss class. No exams, just quizzes and group essays. He gives lots of valuable business world and financial advice. He is very passionate about the subject and engages the students in his lectures. One of my favorite professors at OU.

This man is my favorite professor is 7 years of education at 3 separate institutions thus far. Frank is absolutely incredible I promise you. (He really isnt a professor but an older businessman). Only a few quizzes which arent EASY, and MAINLY 4-5 group case studies which will determine your grade. Choose wisely, you have the same group.

DO NOT take this professor unless you absolutely adore writing papers all of the time. Seriously, it's ridiculous.

5 group papers, 3 quizzes, 3 writing assignments. Lectures cover paper & quiz expectations; attendance is taken. Bought textbook, stop reading b/c teacher went over material that would be on quizzes. Nice and willing to help. Showup, write down quiz summary, and do essay expectations and you will pass, if not pass with a good/great grade.

Amazing amazing amazing! Never met a professor that cares this much for his students. All the papers are group papers except the final paper. No exams just quizzes. He tells you what is on the quizzes but some reading is required. I knew nothing about business coming in, walked out with a good amount of knowledge. Highly recommend him!

Professor Cardimen is one of the most caring and inspirational professors I have ever met. I took his class solely to fill a writing requirement, but I ended up learning so much. His lectures can get long but he lectures about things that will be valuable to you in real life. You use the book to study but he tells you everything on the quizzes.

Barely teaches material, more time is spent discussing his political views that are irrelevant to the course. Spends class time showing power points of his trips abroad. Most grades are from group essays, which isn't helpful if you're stuck in a bad group. Grading criteria for essays in unclear.

Frank Cardimen is one of the nicest Professors I have had the pleasure of having at OU. He is truly a caring person and not only teaches you the subject but cares about the future and success of his students. He is passionate about the subject he teaches and engages his students with his lectures. I highly recommend his International course.

Professor Cardimen has a heart of gold! He is so kind to his students and definitely wants to see them succeed in life and will be willing to help you get there! There are a lot of group papers, so make sure to get in a good group! His quizzes are very easy, he has a review day and basically tells you what is going to be on them word for word!

He always goes on tangents and it seems like a waste of class time, but his stories are funny sometimes. I didn't expect to get life advice in this class, I just wanted to learn about business and get out. He always expects you to go above and beyond on group papers, so ask questions before he gives you a low grade for just following directions

Takes attendance first couple weeks and stops after that so attendance is technically not mandatory. You will never use the book so don't waste your money. He talks about his personal stories and trips the entire semester which are irrelevant to the class. Every single paper is done in groups and that is all your grade is based on.

The best professor I have had at OU, and this is my senior year. He is the most insightful and interesting man I have ever met. Even though this was only a GenEd class, I learned so much. He tells so many awesome stories and he is the one professor I could listen to for hours. If you have the chance to take him DO IT!!!!!!!! You will not regret it!

Great Professor, provides lots of real world insight. Encourages students to think outside the box. Class can be tough if you have a lazy case study group. Slide shows can be boring at times, but for the most part are fairly interesting. The class in general seems more of an ethics class, but I think today's business leaders could use some ethics.

His entire class is him lecturing on trips he has taken in his life and showing pictures of them. Also, tell you how you should live your life. Book is never used. Grade is only of cases in which he will grade super hard on the first, and then say everyone does better as the cases go on. If you want to learn, don't take this professor.

One of the best professors at OU. He really cares about the students, and will help you in any way he can. Likes to veer off topic, but that makes it more interesting, especially when he shares personal stories. Learned a lot, wish I wouldn't have spent money on the book. Would you like to buy it? :)

Nice guy, assignments are often very vague so ask lots of questions and get as much info as possible from him when he assigns a paper. He loves class participation and hearing students' opinions so speak up! It was an easy class and he graded fairly, definitely recommended.

The best way to explain this class is that it is like sitting on grandpa's lap and listening while he tells you a story. He teaches things that aren't found in textbooks. Worthwhile, but can be boring and repetitive at times. I think by the end of class, we had heard all of his stories 3 times over. No final. Several quizzes. Several papers.

This class was the most interesting I have had at Oakland University. It was informative on the subject and a lifetime experience traveling and meeting with businesses. There was not pointless busy-work involved either.
