The best word I can think of to describe Gary is nonchalant--but don't let that trick you into thinking he doesn't expect anything less than your hardest work ethic. He is easy to get a long with and challenges you without stressing you out. Man, I just love Gary. And so does the entire theatre department.

Gary is amazing! He does not discriminate against those who are less experienced and he treats everyone as true adults. His classes are always insightful and exciting and I would recommend taking it to anyone interesting in becoming a better actor or just looking for a fine arts course

I loved this class, and he was very very helpful. He is very relaxed and great to get along with. Just do what is asked to do in the class and you will get an A. The journals, and the play readings are not as bad as it sounds in the beginning.

OMG! I absolutely loved this class. Gary is amazing. He provides the basic tools for a beginning actor and gives you the opportunity to apply what you learn to in-class performances throughout the semester. Even non majors can enjoy this course and walk away with a new skill and love for theatre.

This is a must take class. i love this guy and if you are not afraid to get up infront of the class and have some fun and poke fun at your self. then step down. stage fright is not helpful for this course. but gary will get you out of your shell
