I took Professor Lannaman's class last semester and it sounded like an interesting class, ohh but was I wrong. His lectures are extremely boring and complicated. He is so smart that anything he says makes no sense. His directions on assignments are extremely unclear and gives you no direction of where to go. He is a nice guy but the worst teacher!

Professor Lannamann is a nice guy but cant describe material or assignments well... assignments are the worst because theyre never clear. Be prepared to do a lot of reading and have it make no sense! Very hard graded and unforgiving. Interesting concepts but poorly taught. Would not take again.

He is enthusiastic about teaching, but he gives really tough exams and pop quizzes. All of them are multiple choice, so if you struggle with that good luck. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you miss a pop quiz you can't make it up. Be prepared to guess your grade, he never updates canvas, and even during the final you don't know your grade.

John is a really cool guy, he is tough but if you work hard, attend class and take good notes you should be fine. He does do pop quizzes, but drops the lowest and doubles the highest which is super helpful. I would take him again, hes lecture heavy and kind of a tough grader but always makes it really interesting.

This was by far my hardest class at UNH. With that being said, I learned a lot in his course and I highly do recommend it. The reading was heavy and incredibly difficult to get through, especially when you arent used to that type of difficulty. Definitely take this course if you want a challenge but otherwise its not an easy A.

Was really nervous about his class and sure the topics were sometimes dry, but he had great enthusiasm and worked hard at trying to engage the class. Funny and nice, does pop quizzes but they're open note book. Exams are a little hard so study and do the readings. One of the better professors for Language and Social interaction

I found Jack's class very interesting although I was vaguely interested in the topic. Simply being in class was enough to get a good grade and he is very helpful if you need to make things up if you ask beforehand. He has pop quizzes but they're open book and easy A's. Exams were more in-depth but manageable if you went to class

If you actually study and pay attention in class the tests are not as terrible as everyone makes them out to. If you don't keep up with the lectures and reading, studying for the test is going to be terrible. Once you get to know the professor it helps a ton. He is super nice and cares. Take Lannaman for 457!

Super nice and pretty funny. I think he is a great teacher, he uses many examples which is helpful. The quizzes are open notes, and if you go to class the exams are easy. The material he teaches in class is not always the same as in the books, so you need to attend.

awesome professor! extremely helpful and the class was pretty interesting. make sure you take notes off his powerpoints because most of the exams are based on them. also go to classes because he gives pop quizzes but they're not bad. I would definitely reccomend taking a class with him.
