Excellent professor. Uses geometry to explain concepts (historically the most appropriate method). Has a very sarcastic/deadpan sense of humor. Can come off rude if you're not used to that.

Overall its a difficult course to pass despite how hard you work and I highly recommend that you find a different teacher. He gets irritated if you ask him questions and goes through the course material fast. The final is worth two letter grades which impacts your grade immensely if you pass or fail.

THICK French Accent, NOT a native English speaker. Sarcastic, Crass, Arrogant, seems Miserable. DROP if you still can, transfer out, or be prepared to teach yourself and put up with his ineptitude. Weak personality... he does NOT control the room, lots of talking other distractions.

I'm not very good at Math, but he was very clear at how to do things. He gives out 4 tests thats it. So pass them all. the final counts as two grades so that can make or break you. He comes off as being annoyed sometimes but he really isn't thats just his personality. If you don't understand anything do the homework, he goes over it in class.

He doesn't care about anything...he just teaches the class then leaves and gives you a exam a few weeks later. Just ace the exams and final and you will be good.He exams are similar to hw ques! Also if you ask him any questions, sometimes he gets annoyed. Overall, it's a pretty easy class.

I like math and after taking him for precalculus I now hate it. Lost complete interest in the class. Students walk out of class 30 minutes early out of frustration or from being so lost in class. Does last minute reviews that only confuse you more. Beware! He will ruin your GPA!! Not a high grader. Known to fail students on a regular.

Attendance not mandatory. BUT he covers a lot in one class. He's a good professor, a little sarcastic. EXPECT to use a tutor everyday with this class. Class moves VERY quickly. Pepared to work your butt off. I had engineer students in my class who were good students but still dropped this class b/c of the work you have to put in for just a C.

Extremely difficult class. He refuses to review in advance or give a review sheet. Gives 3 tests that are only 10 questions long. Which means you can only get 3 wrong or else you fail. I absolutely hated that he only reviewed RIGHT BEFORE the test. That gives you such a small window of opportunity to raise questions on areas you have problems with.

Knows the subject matter very well but is not understanding nor sympathetic towards you not comprehending a problem. He's a good teacher, but he is more suited for advanced classes. Not recommended for anyone that struggles with math. He only reviews right before the exam leaving very little room to fully grasp what you're studying.

He is difficult to understand. He's impatient but if you ask for help or clarity he will try but not exactly succeed. Take him if you need the class and he's the only one open. I got 60s and 50s and got a C.

Divided the curriculum into understandable sections, with a 10 question test after each section. Goes very quickly. Asks for questions yet answers rudely. I don't think he realizes it though. Would be better for higher level math courses. He checks attendance but I don't know why as his grade is solely based on the tests. Not an easy a. At all.

Comment:

Teaching methods are brilliant, tests are pretty easy and an excellent Prof. Has a great sense of humor. I would take him again in a heartbeat because I really enjoyed his class. For me he is among the elite group of math professors in CSI. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! For me I would rate him 10/10, great Prof and an experienced instructor.
