I had high hopes for her class. But it seemed like the level of professionalism was minimal, she gave off negative vibes, and I couldn't tell if she was giving me feed back or shady comments half the time. If you're tough skinned and learn best by self-teaching, go for it.

She's fun to have in class, good sense of humor. Easy to ask questions to. Went in not too interested but it was fun and got alot out of it. Way better than some of the art teachers.

Took her for painting. She is a skilled and knowledgable teacher- knows her stuff! She clearly loves painting and is a helpful teacher. She's not afraid to tell you the truth about your work, but is easy to approach. I recommend her class if you are a serious artist.

Way too much work in the class. You have to pour a ridiculous amount of time into it and be a perfectionist to the extreme. If you want an A, be willing to redo. Too much repetition. Boring, but friendly.

I went into the class already knowing some of the info but still learned a lot! I didn't find her negative, she critiques us so we'll get better. Her grading is fair if she thinks you put in the effort. She explains everything well. Approachable.

She has a very negative style of teaching. Her personality makes the class less interesting. And, it is hard to find motivation to go to class. She also grades very tough. She grades on skill, not effort.
