Dr. Nigota was fabulous! Rest in peace, sir. He helped me so much with the Guibert paper. I loved his stories about the kings and popes during the Civil Medieval times. I learned a lot from his class and can't wait to teach history!!

Comment:

Dr. Nigota was one of the best teachers I had at South. He was a wonderful teacher who loved teaching his students about his passion, England and everything about it. I don't know if he ever knew how much his students enjoyed him and his unique style. I only hope he did. The history department at South will never be the same without Nigota.

I miss him so much. R.I.P. never have i met a teacher so into his study he cared about it so much he made such an impact on my life and i will never forget him, i hope to learn from him as being a future teacher, he has taught more then just about history but about life i will always miss you.

R.I.P. Dr. Nigota. He was a great professor who probably forgot more about history than I will ever know. But even more importantly, he cared deeply about his students and was a true gentleman. As a future teacher, I hope to learn from his example. He will truly be missed.

He is very knowledgeable on his subject, however I would have liked to cover more aspects of the subject for my class. His tests are difficult, only a midterm and final, but he seems to grade pretty fairly. He has a good personality, but I've had more interesting professors. He can be a bit boring sometimes. I give him a B.

I loved every minute of his class! Western Civ has the potential to be a disgustingly boring class; however, he was always upbeat & kept things interesting. Don't worry TOO much about the book...he'll tell you what you need to read. Otherwise, take good notes, and pay attention! He's great a/b working w/ you on make-up.

He was AWESOME. I will definetly take him every chance I get. He knows so much about the subject, and i have to say....my grade in his class is EXCELLENT. The book is needed, but not much. Reading it would be stupid, because his lectures are deeper than a book. His essays and tests are easy. He gives the q's ahead of time, so the essays are easy.

He is AWESOME. Def. not an easy A, but he is such a great guy and really gets into his history. Everything he writes on the board, WRITE IT DOWN and write their meanings. But very entertaining course. Loved every class. Even let me borrow his book right b4 the exam cus i lost mine.

He is one of the greatest teachers that I have ever had. He is so passionate and kept me passionate about History.He dances around if your cell phone goes off, which adds for entertainment. His lectures are also like big, dramatic soaps. I recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Nigota is a P-I-M-P! He gives really interesting lectures and does what he can to help you succeed. He gives you the essay questions ahead of time and gives you extra credit if he sees you are trying. The only negative is that he foams at the mouth like Cujo when he lectures.

Dr. Nigota is an awesome teacher. He really loves what he does and you can tell. He loves to tell stories and show slides, as well as speak in dead languages. His tests and quizzes are pretty easy, but you do have to study for them. He is apt to give you credit on a test if he sees that you are trying your best. GREAT TEACHER!!!!

On the first day of class he said to ALWAYS have your cell phones off & everytime one went off he would do a silly little jig. VERY funny man =) He cares about your grades, but read your book! And show up for class because you will take a lot of notes. I would take him again!
