Comment:

I love her so much her human sexuality class is amazing. She would ask interesting questions and told funny stories. Just watch out for the one big group project you will have. You are assigned a topic and make a power point and teach about it. However, it is a pretty easy project to do and she is not a hard grader.

In an effort to appear relaxed Dr. Pynn doesn't give clear and specific direction for assignments which usually causes confusion for the entire class. Material for exams is withheld until shortly before the exam date, leaving little time to prepare.

Dr. Pynn is definitely a different style teacher. She doesn't exactly teach from the book but she has more of an emphasis on research on the subject. I had her for both Human Sexuality and Child Development. Both good classes, yes she has you do group projects to learn about material related to the course. It's different, but not too hard really.

This was definitely the worst class I've taken yet. The material would be interesting, but she doesn't lecture out of the book at all and makes difficult tests based off of the book. If you memorize every key term and other stuff you'll get an A. I had 144 note cards for jut the first test. Do not take from Pynn if possible!!

Dr. Pynn is an AMAZING professor. I had her for Orientation and Human Sexuality. Tests are super easy, her classes are fun and interesting. Always has relevant research to share. Fun and interesting person. Make sure to read your text as well as go over notes before a test!! You'll love her!

Her psyc 101 class was ok. She openly admitted that she wasn't a good teacher; it was on US to learn, not her. The tests were on info from the book, not what she "teaches" during class so READ & STUDY THE BOOK!!! If you do that you'll do fine. Just keep up with the readings.

Great professor. She's really intelligent, but also laid back and just generally a cool person to talk to. Human Sexuality was an interesting class and she always brought in new data/research to make the topics timely.

After having this class with her I really like her a lot. Her tests are kind of hard and you actually have to pay attention in class and read the book, but if you do that then you're fine. Many people say she was unwilling to help outside of class but if you just go to her office she'll talk to you. I would definitely take another class with her!

In my opinion Dr.Pynn was 1 of the most unhelpful, unclear, no good teachers I have ever dealt with. Her tests aren't over the notes so be prepared to read the book. She comes off nice to the class, but unless you REALLY kiss up and become her pet then don't expect any help from her. If you can(and should really try to) get a different teacher.

Awful. Teacher is biased, unclear, and unwilling to consider accept alternative view points. If you suck up to her, you'll do fine. If not, you're in for a rough ride. IN addition, she tests over material that was never mentioned in class.

She searches for any excuse to NOT teach a class, making the students lead sessions EVERY week, numerous mindless videos with no relevance to class. Moron when it comes to basic writing. (She marked several points on one of my papers as incorrect until I had Dr. Cooley check it and confirm that she had indeed marked correct points as wrong)

This class could have been better if it wasnt at 8am, but outside of class she was very helpful. Some of the tests were confusing but she was very willing to help.
