Professor is nice but does not follow syllabus or define clearly what she wants done. Multiple times students have asked for her to clear up what we are supposed to be doing and all she did was leave us with more questions. Would not recommend.

Do not get your hopes up. She's nice and sweet when you talk to her, but I emailed her throughout the course and she did not respond to a single one. I never got any feedback from her and I have no idea how the papers were graded. She also does not follow the syllabus and kinda just does whatever she feels like

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Lawrence is by far one of the worst professors at the school. She might seem nice and caring at first but trust me she doesnt not care. She gave out the syllabus at the beginning of the semester and havent followed it at all. Not only did she put us in breakout rooms during the zoom classes but she also didnt tell anythin

Linda is super nice and incredibly caring. She is extremely understanding and works with you to improve in and outside the classroom. The class is not hard at all just get the work done and you'll pass, not a class I ever stressed about.

Professor Lawerence is a nice person but is not however a great professor. We spent the first half of the semester working on one paper. She takes forever to get things graded. She does not really seem to put much effort into teaching. Take her if you want. She is very unorganized and doesn't have a set syllabus so don't expect a structured class.

Don't expect much help outside of class, I gave her my final paper for her class a week in advance because she said she would review it for the WPE and she didn't give it back to me before the last day of class (when it was due) so I could not change anything even tho she said she'd have it back to me before it was due multiple times

She's a really nice and caring professor, but her lectures are usually really boring. The topics didn't really engage me, grades mostly on the papers you write.

She is such a nice professor. The work is not that hard and there are not too many assignments. She does take attendance every day at the end of class but she is very understanding and you can talk to her if anything comes up and she will not penalize you for it. Don't make excuses she's down to earth and just wants you to tell the truth.

She is a great professor. She does cancel class a fair amount(she will give you more information)so it does make it a little difficult to keep track of what is going on. However she is very flexible and will move around the syllabus to best fit the class. We don't do to many readings and they aren't that difficult and there aren't to many papers.

Constantly changed the syllabus and cancelled class at the last minute frequently. Also had a very bad attitude and sense of humor.

Best English teacher to start off your freshman year! She will assign some parts of the book she will ask for you guys to buy but it's no more than $30. You can find it anywhere and she lets you write such as research papers on topics you want to talk about and she assigns pretty good short stories! Take her! Put in the work and you'll pass w/ A.

Linda is one of my favorite professors! She is extremely understanding and extremely willing to help improve your writing. Do the essays and you should get an A. She does not give many long essays but more of writing responses. Took her again for 102.

Professor Lawrence has her own interesting teaching method. Although she may be a bit harsh on the paper and essay's formatting (MLA style is required), what she wants is her students are able to cite properly and write reference (bibliography) correctly. She keep emphasizing the WPE in the campus, her syllabus are 'flexible',attendance is optional

I over-estimated her class. Thought it was going to be more focused on improving your writing. Turns out, some students don't even know how to cite sources! If you're a few minutes late she will make you feel very uncomfortable. This class is not for bright students who dislike work. Extremely Boring.

I found the that Prof. Lawrence makes writing our research papers interesting. I enjoyed my research because she allows us to choose the theme to write about. We chose our ending research paper that gives you your first piece towards WP :)

I love this woman so much. She's mellow, doesn't stick to some guideline you can just muddle through. It feels like a discussion class. She imparts her wisdom and she asks you to think in places you've never thought before. She's sweet as all get-out.

She doesn't follow the cyllabus, which I thought it was a good thing because there won't be more work for you to do. She can be sarcastic but she is rude to me most of the time. She is the type of professor that goes to class, have something for students to do then she just walk out of the class when it is over.

She changes the syllabus every time. She can be very sarcastic and rude especially if you don't come prepared. One thing I did notice was that she favors certain students and tends to give them an easy A. I would not recommend her.
