Ricciardi is by far the best teacher i have ever taken. I am not kidding you will learn more in one semester than you will learn in any other SJC class. Honestly amazing all around you will learn so much about english, life, and be entertained every class

Really fun class. Take his shakepeare class if you have difficulty with the language because he explains everything after he reads it. Just dont fall asleep or zone out because he will call you out on it (in a funny/not angry kind of way). Hes not bad on the eyes either.

WOW! This man is very passionate about his work. He's very engaging and easy to understand. As one of my other professors said "you don't take a Ricciardi class, you experience it." Very interesting to listen to. Very good actor!

Great professorand makes you hope to have the same passion about subject you eventually teach. obscure movie references are te standard and hysterical if you get them. No drawbacks, just take him if you have the chance.

Prof Ricciardi is crazy. But do not let this pertinent piece of info prevent you from taking a class with him. It truly is an experience; you learn a lot of weird weird stuff not related to the lit, as well as weird stuff that does. He made 17th century literature fun. Enough said. Oh and he LOVES Milton, or "Uncle Johnny" and he's a knight..
