Comment:

Co-taught my Wizardry of Oz class. Super dedicated to students and getting people to think critically. A bit of an intense personality, so she comes off very strong. I tend to be a pretty anxious person so even though I agreed with her I'd sometimes get a bit intimidated. Made sure the class was a really fun and meaningful time for everybody.

Dont take her. She is so unprofessional, rude, yells at students for not doing what she wanted even though she gave NO instruction. Says that youll never be an me to figure out what she wants no matter how hard you try. Horrible professor.

Most unprofessional teacher I've ever had, always late to class, she is rude to students, mostly only talks about politics and her one sided argument. Easy to pass work load wise but she has been awful in my experience.

Margot is an amazing professor!! All the negative comments are probably from white students who refuse to open their eyes. Not only Margot's classes but EGST classes will change your life and open up your eyes to what's really going on. You read books but they're IMPORTANT reads! If you READ you will PASS cuz your papers will be EASY to complete!

I have never met a more dedicated, brilliant, inspiring and genuinely supportive professor in all my time in university. This woman puts everything into the learning process that she's got and cares deeply for every student in and out of her classrooms. She strives on a daily basis to build an academic community that is truely revolutionary.

flakiest professor ever assigned us projects and assignments after the first summer term had already ended but before grades closed Would not reply to emails Said she would grade as assignments were passed in and only graded 2 assignments. The assignments she did grade didn't provide helpful feedback she just questioned my opinions

She's over the top but GREAT professor. You learn a lot about the world, especially the United States. Students who are "white" learn a lot about what it is like to be someone of a different race. Love her. She speaks her mind and allows you to do the same. Love this class! Take it!

do not believe the hype about her hating you if youre not black--shes controversial and many people disagree with that. she doesnt tiptoe around issues of race, sexuality, economic standing,etc. she expects opinions to be intelligent and supported with evidence. you must work hard! but overall the class is amazing--it changed my life.

Good Teacher, but not for conservatives. She has some very enlightening topics and well versed in leftist movements. She can get worked up at times and some struggle at seeing the world through they eyes of the disenfranchised, but eye opening. Take it.

A very intelligent professor but extremely liberal and brings this into her teaching. Forces her opinion upon students and will call you out in the middle of class if you do not agree with her. A lot of unnecessary reading involved...not the hardest class but defiantly not for slackers

I loved this class, it really changed my life! I can see the world for what it really is. Margot is beyond brilliant and shes so funny and helpful. However, she means business. Her assignments are no joke. Heavy reading. You must be able to keep up or you will get lost and fail. Slackers looking for an easy A? this is not the class.!FULFILIING!

I think alot of Margot. She sticks by her guns and is a very smart woman. She is a tough Prof but she makes you learn and think about things in a different way. If you go to her for help she is very helpful and understanding you just have to approach her. Overall I thought she was a good teacher.

I really liked her. She gives alot of reading, and at times it was a little overwhelming, but the class was very interesting. She loves her job and cares about her students. As long as you do the work and pay attention in class you'll do fine. I did the work, missed one paper & got an A-.How much better can you get?

A liberal extremist. Class frequently goes off topic into controversial political issues. Textbook frequently promotes socialism. If you are liberal, take the course with her, if you are even remotely conservative stay far away. Lots of reading. Very lenient about due dates, but is a tough grader.
