HLTH120.She is nice enough, but silly and she doesn't promote good nutrition as she should.Read the text if you really want to learn anything because her notes are limited. She repeats herself over and over to stall for time b/c she is unprepared for class. She makes up answers to questions asked so as not to appear stupid. I do not recommend!

Very Sweet Lady. Make sure you are their for class. Test are easy if you read over the material. She has a lot of stories because she has tons of experience which I really enjoyed. Gives hand outs so you can follow and fill in. I learned a lot and really enjoyed myself while learning in her class!

would go off topic and not teach and have a side conversation with the 30+ students who had nothing of a value to contribute, not to mention hang on stuff that shouldnt of been brought up ever in any meaningful conversation in the first place. dropped the class.. or else would of ended up betting my head into the desk instead of listening longer

Loved this class. Learned so much more than I could have imagined. Each person had a chance to voice his/her own opinion. Very interesting material. Teacher took time to explain things in detail. Highly recommend this teacher!

I must disagree with the comments of 3/13/06. Ms Chalich is very open minded. In our class she displayed patience and tolerance to students with prejudiced ideas.(Like if poor people are hungry its their fault.) Her teaching style is lively and she is quite knowledgeable. I wish that she taught an advanced nutrition class. Kudos Ms.Chalich!
