Good teacher, knows her stuff, but very intimidating. She makes you very nervous to mess up and it makes you not want to practice clinical with her. Not afraid to give marginals or ROUBs. Easy grader though.

Heyrman,in opinion, is worthy the title Teacher.Although tough,she understands that we are students and need guidance, not to be dismissed on "perceived weakness", but given chance to learn, grow, and better ourselves. I am truly grateful for the instruction she gave, I wish I could say the same for a few other instructors in the program as well.

Although intimidating at first, I have found Ms. Heyrman to be the most admirable of the RN Instructors at RCTC. If you need help and are willing to work hard, she will be the strongest advocate. I am truly grateful for the instruction I recieved from her. I wish I could say the same for a few other instructors in the program as well.

you get the feeling when you go to Mary with a question or concern that she is just waiting for you to finish talking so she can tell you why you are wrong. She doesn't seem to really listen to students and she is very cold seeming and unapproachable, in my opinion.
