Comment:
Prof. Wilson's class is very straight forward. Grades is based off exams and final. Thats it. Study for the exams and pass the class. No other bs to deal with. Best advice is to read the book & notes, then do chapter tests. Know the material. Plain and simple. She knows A&P like the back of her hand so if you have a question, ask her. I recommend.

I went to every class, took notes, listened and studied 20+ hours a week (for lab as well) and still did not do well on the exams. The study guides and notes dont help at all. I dont know where the questions come from. There are only exams, no quizzes or extra points.

not gonna lie, she is boring but honestly if you really do study you will pass. I barely studied but her questions are straight off the bat. Pay attention to the lectures to give you a general idea of the chapters but READ READ and take notes on your own. Listen to what she says because sometimes she says things that do end up being a test question

Interesting class, material is hard and takes a lot of studying. However, if you took 189 & 223, you know how it goes. Good lecturer, enjoyed her class. Grade based on 5 exams, final & lab scores. Test are only difficult if you don't study.

I've had Prof. Wilson for 223 and 224 and she has always been helpful and encouraging. Her office is always open to students. Take advantage of it, she will help you! And yes, she reads her powerpoints to you and goes deeper into concepts. The power points are notes she made for students. I'm know she can lecture w/o them, so be thankful!!

She was a very nice professor but super boring. She pretty much just read off the powerpoint. I wish she provided homework for easy points, but all she had was hard exams. Make sure you are ready to study a lot on your own when you take this class. She wasn't really helpful and she didn't seem like she was down to help students.

Prof. Wilson is great! This course is hard. I had her for lecture and lab and she is always fair. She makes study guides that reflect the text. If something is questionable in lab, talk to her, make a valid point, and she'll make adjustments. Shes super sweet! I recommend! ps. yes a lot of people drop this class, but thats ALL professors!! STUDY!

This is a hard class but if you go to the lecture and study you will pass. I took Wilson for both 223 and 224, both classes I received a B+ in. She is not easy and you will have to do the work but if you take the time to understand key objectives you will pass.

I know a lot of people dropped out of this class, but I don't think it is because of the professor. Yes, she could be dry, but everything we need to know is already written in the book, so you just have to read them all. I rarely went to the lecture but I studied at least 6h/chapter. I utilized Youtube tutorial videos more than her lectures/notes.

I took Bio 223 from a different professor (Hicks) and found it much more challenging and stimulating; this one was brutal. People dropped like flies from this class, and I had to make a Herculean effort to stay motivated and interested enough to finish with a decent grade. The material is difficult, yes, but a stimulating instructor helps a lot!

She is boring, unapproachable, and kinda unorganized. She didn't reply to my email. The ppts I printed out are slightly different than her ppts. she's quick flipping through the slides.easy tests.study guides help but some arent on test.had to use book for more info.just reads off her ppt.doesn't explain things.no point in going to class.just study.

I didn't think her class was going to be that tough. It was a boring class and I literally had to force myself to go to class because her class was just not exciting at all. She's very monotone which I hated because I would always fall asleep in that class. Overall, I passed that class but I was very disappointed in what my grade was. Never again!!

She is a good professor. She gives students study guides that are very helpful, and the lectures are as informative as needed at this point. I'm definetely taking her for BIOL 224.

Her lecture class was very straight forward (little boring) and she even provides you with the study guide for the tests. I only took her for lecture and received a B overall in the class. I don't recommend her for lab, I heard horror stories!

Lots of ppl here were so harsh on Ms Wilson. She's far from awful. Her exams are exactly according to the study guide, do some reading and some words will run to you during exams. I don't like that she didn't post grade on Angel. She let you review previous exams in her room. Powerpoint, study guides, some lecture on angel, put some efforts!!!
