Comment:

She is a horrible professor and I would do anything you can to avoid her, she made over half of our classes asynchronous leaving us to teach our selves and gave a cumulative final with no study guide or anything, she did not tell us what the exam was till 1:30am the day of the exam, she gives a lot of work and is extremely biased in her views

Comment:

I think she bites off more than she can chew. She gives so many papers/work but then ends up pushing them back so she can finish grading then she doesn't have time to meet outside class for extra help. She knows what she's talking about she's really smart about the subject but its too much work and not enough teaching. Could take again if I had to.

Comment:

Her feedback is never on time. Expect to submit 2 to 3 items before receiving feedback for earlier assignments. She grades based on the rubric and does not elaborate. The requirements do not match the syllabus. Heavy on citations. Make sure you use 6th edition APA. She does not provide any help even when asked. Asked for guidance and did nothing.

Comment:

Professor Logue does not give constructive feedback. If there is one punctuation missing from your work, she dings you heavily. She also doesn't tell you exactly what was wrong with your work. She also talks at you, not to you. Her syllabus says to use the 8th edition of APA format, but she uses 6th edition. Her grading style is far too strict.

Dr. Logue Tough grader. I took her for two semesters because I knew what she expected from me. I am a much better write because of her. She will go through your entire assignment and correct your grammatical errors using tracking so you can see how to write better next time to get a better grade. She is knowledgeable. I learned much from her.

VERY tough grader. I had done every single assignment, turned them all in on time, still received an F for the class. She does not give full credit to anyone for anything, even discussions (you were able to see the highest, lowest, and average grade for assignments). Unless you have wiggle room for your GPA, I would not recommend taking her.

Dr. Logue is an extremely harsh grader and does not let you score 100% on anything. She has very strict rules on writing, even though this is NOT a writing/English class. For example, don't ever use contractions, even in informal discussion boards! Also don't expect her to tell you what exactly was wrong with your writing, but still takes points.

This is a class needed to graduate the CJ graduate program. She is a tough grader and by tough I mean I never scored so low on a final paper that I was offended because I work HARD. You need to have your papers read and read over by yourself and another person. Taking her was a regret and I dont recommend her if you have a heavy home life going on.

I took Ethics from Dr Logue. She is a tough grader! Don't take a class from her and expect a single thing to slide by. One mistake and you aren't getting a perfect score. Some of the things she takes points for are pretty ridiculous. In an 8 week class, I was not taught a single thing; her Ethics class is all about doing assignments, not learning.

I would never take this professor again. Yes, she is very knowledgeable in the area she is teaching, however, she has no people skills. If you work 40 + hours and have a family, this is not the professor you want. I understand we're grad students but there is no reason to treat me like I am a child. I felt very disrespected in her feedbacks.

She is a VERY tough grader. She's very knowledgable in her lectures and can be funny in class but will tear you a new one in papers. Her exams are hard and her instructions for papers are unclear. The class is interesting if you don't care about your GPA.

She treated my class like we were graduate students, never reminded us about assignments and wouldn't let us ask for help unless we went to the writing center first. Not clear on papers and hard on citing, but won't help you. I wouldn't take this class unless you must.

Dr. Logue is the greatest professor at St. Joseph's University. Yes, she is difficult and is a harsh grader, but she is the most approachable woman. She knows her information better than anyone at this university. You will regret not taking her.

Excellent teacher. You will learn a lot in the class. Make sure you read the textbook for the exams and do NOT just rely on the notes she gives in class. 3 exams, non-cumulative final, one 5-6 page paper, hw assignments every couple days. Great class, definitely take her!!

She's a good teacher. She is very anal about grammar so make sure you triple check your papers before handing them in. Her tests are hard so MAKE SURE TO READ THE TEXTBOOK. DO NOT RELY ONLY ON HER LECTURES AND SLIDES. She does curve if needed. Overral, If you want an easy A this is a not a class you should take.

So so nice and really helpful. Easy but teaches hard stuff. She knows what we are learning is difficult so she is understanding. Mostly lecture, can be a little boring at times. Tries to do classroom activites but they are awkward and not very informative. Overall, you'd have to try to do bad in her class.

Very helpful. Exams suck, but I guess if you "study" and "pay attention" you'll do okay. Pop quizzes which are pretty hard if you don't read, and 10 3-page papers, which become a pain by the end of the semester. Still, great teacher.

Extremely helpful!! Great teacher and knows ALOT about criminal justice! 10 reaction papers 3 pages long that are really easy A's. lots of notes but as long as you read the book you'll be fine. there are study guides and the material isn't hard, just alot of it.

Really helpful and understanding. Makes sure that all of her assignments are understood. I have had her for a couple of classes and she is great.
