Comment:
Dr. Biner's class isn't necessarily very exciting, but he is a decent professor. He stays after every class to answer questions and genuinely wants everyone to succeed, but his lectures are usually just him reading a Powerpoint word for word. You don't have to buy a textbook and you'll get out of class early almost every day.

Dr Biner is a nice guy and is accessible outside of the classroom if you have questions. He will try his best to make sure you understand the information completely! His lecture's are boring because he reads directly from the PowerPoints and doesn't add any additional thought. If you don't study, his tests will be difficult. The paper was easy!

Dr. Biner is a nice guy and accessible outside of the classroom if you have questions. If you don't understand the material, he will try his best to clarify it for you. Lecture's are pretty boring because he sits at his desk and reads straight from the PowerPoints and doesn't include additional thoughts. Tests will be difficult if you don't study!

Dr. Biner is w/out a doubt my fave prof I've had at BSU. He's funny and honest and will do whatever he can to slow down and make sure you know what's going on bc "hey, you guys are the one paying me to teach this stuff!". The material is v. detailed but its adv for a reason. Don't be scared to ask questions and you'll do GREAT!

Dr. Biner was a very fun teacher to have. He made everything on every slide interesting. He understood that you can't always make class and didn't take attendance. You have to read, but if you read everything, you will do very well. He curves tests by a lot if the class does bad. I got an F which curved to an A. Very fun. Excellent overall.

He does have office hours but he is very fast in his lecture and if you miss its sooo hard to be able to catch up so try to find a friend in the class because that might be your only hope. Also read the textbook because if you dont you will not pass!

Dr. Biner is great! He makes the whole class based on his lectures so you don't have to buy a book. The downside is that you need to get the notes from every class. He is has office hours for you to get caught up in too. He's just an overall great person and really cares about his students' education

Dr. Biner is great! If you are struggling, he will offer you a lot of help. His lectures can sometimes be boring, but for the most part, they are very interesting. Only 3 exams and in class essays, and no assignments. If you go to the study sessions, you will know what to study. I would definitely recommend Dr. Biner!

You'll rarely have class, or it will get out at least 30 minutes early. He starts class 10 minutes early, which means if you are on time, you've missed an excessive amount of material. Read the book for tests or you will fail every single one. Even if you fail the class, the curve will not let you receive anything less than a C.

Lectures were very interesting. We watched videos that applied to our learning which really added to my experience. Our TA was always available and regularly had study sessions, which significantly improved my grade. However, Dr. Biner started class 30 minutes early almost every day- be sure you are early. Most test questions are from the book.

Starts every class 5-7 minutes early. Goes incredibly fast through the lecture notes. Most of what is on the test is from the book, but he wont tell you that until after you fail the first test. Advisor said that it was good to get a C in that class, even after the heavy curve that he gives.

The only grades you receive in this class are the 3 multiple-choice exams and the sum of the essay tests. Take full advantage of study sessions. Read the textbook for the test! Half the questions on the exams are based on lecture material and the other half is book material. He curves everything and you'll get out 45 minutes early every time.

Easily the best professor at Ball State. He is beyond understanding and did everything he could to help me in the class. Every class gets out early, and he makes everything short and sweet. I would take his class every semester if I could!

Dr. Biner knows his stuff BUTTT he doesn't get it across very well. If you are not a great test taker I do NOT recommend his class. 3 test, all very VERY hard. While he does curve it, it is hard to get an A in this class. Get out of class early a lot, but there is a lot of self teaching involved. I would not recommend this as a schedule filler.

Biner is an AWESOME guy. He really cares about his students, that's for sure. However, as great as it is to constantly have class let out early or cancelled, there's a LOT of self-teaching you have to do. You ABSOLUTELY need to come to class AND read the book if you want to pass. Book material is not discussed in class and you only have 3 tests.
