I took Comp 1 with him and it wasn't too bad. He dose however make you write a lot of essays but is typically pretty clear on how he wants them done. He's also a fairly reasonable grader. If you are unhappy with a grade on an essay he'll even let you do it again with no extra points taken off. He does tend to ramble and get off topic sometimes.

He gives makes you write a lot of essays, but he gives a clear outline of how he wants you to do it, and how youll get an A. Hell also let you re-write your essays until you get the grade you want. This was definitely one of my easier classes

Do not take him for any reason at all. His classes are torture, he uses them to ramble about nothing and gives zero instruction and doesn't care. He might have been an ok teacher at one time but he's senile and delusional in thinking he's funny. Please do not take him, I'm going to be writing a formal complaint to ACC he's that unusually terrible.

this professor can be viewed in many different ways. I understood his humor because we have similar humor: cut-dry and somewhat raunchy. Pretty funny, really. It was easy to pass and do well because he would let you re-do any writing assignment for 10 points extra. basically, if you re-did it, you got your 10 points. not much consistency

Very sweet older man. Gives a handout of exactly what he expects in the essays. Tons of extra credit points as long as you actually do the reading. Short stories he assigns are very easy to read and interesting. Allows you to make corrections on essays and make points back. He sings in class and is very funny. Loved this class!

Super awesome professor. He makes the class fun. His tests aren't hard at all they are take-home writing essays, and the quizzes are super easy because they are basically on Moby-Dick, will excepted digital copy or physical copy. Gives lots of bonus points. Loves students who volunteer to help. Does lots of group projects. Makes class fun.

Starting off with the class, i thought it would be an easy A, intro to lit- couldn't be that hard, i thought. But wow! the class was a very good challenge throughout. Learned ALOT! Group project at the end was a good application of all skills learned thru semester. I really enjoyed this challenging class. I strongly recommend his class!

American Lit, post-Civil War over the summer. Mr. Price is easily the least organized prof I've ever had (scatter-brained, goes on wild tangents, taught the same lecture on Modernism 3 times). If you need structure in your studies, avoid his class. Otherwise, if he can positively remember your name at the end of the semester, you're golden.

This professor changed my perspective on English. Before this class I sucked at writing and was not too passionate about reading. However, I enjoyed his class & I would certainly recommend taking him. He is helpful & has a great personality that keeps you interested in what he has to say.

Very laid back. Has a "we can do this together" type attitude. If you forget to turn small signs in, just turn it in later. Just follow prompts and syllabus and you are golden. Very pationat about Brit. Lit and will ramble about famous authors. Nice man as well, lets you call him if yo have a ?.

He was super easy this summer. He grades easy as long as you follow the prompt of the essays. We had no tests except essay tests every week. I think he is easier in the summer than a regular semester. Participate in class a lil bit and should be an A. There is a lot of reading but sparknotes is very useful and helps!

Really enjoyed his class. Very interesting guy with an unusual take on things. Make sure you pay attention to what he's asking for. He relies heavily on reading stories out of the required book. Papers are graded fairly & he always gives feedback.

Didn't learn a thing. Came to class dressed sloppily like he didn't care about the class. Would start on one subject and end up on a completely different and irrelavent topic. Asked him for help once and wouldn't (or couldn't) give me a straight answer. Would definitely NOT recommend.

Kind of creepy and can be insulting. Come to class and turn in your papers on time and you should be good for an A. He tells you when you're going to have a pop quiz, so study for it! Speak up in class and you are more likely to get a better grade.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Is extremely helpful and will take time out of his schedule to help you. He is in the tutor lab a lot. He is not a pushover though. I got an F on my first paper, but I went to him for help and he explained what I could improve on and I ended up getting an A in the class.
